Love it! Expensive, but have been using it for a long time now and have had zero problems and keys have a nice feel, the track pad is good and the case is nice quality too. It also connects well and you can leave it on when you are charging it and both are charged at the same time. I use it on my lap mostly and I am surprised it works well on the lap. Only con is the price point.

Several years ago, Apple introduced a significant OS change that redefined the iPad’s identity, positioning it more akin to a laptop rather than a mobile phone. This transformation, coupled with the development of the Magic Keyboard, effectively enables users to repurpose their iPad into a laptop-like device. During my extended hospital stays and subsequent back surgery recovery, I frequently utilized the Magic Keyboard case with my iPad Pro. Numerous individuals have complimented me on the appearance of a “cool computer” or “cool laptop” due to its laptop-like design. While I cannot fully encapsulate the transformative impact of this case in a review, I strongly advise against opting for an inexpensive Bluetooth keyboard from a different brand. While these keyboards may provide some functionality, they lack the aesthetic appeal and seamless integration of the Magic Keyboard. The Magic Keyboard case offers a comprehensive range of features, including keyboard shortcuts, a trackpad, a backlit keyboard, and fast responsiveness. It has been streamlined from its initial model, resulting in a sleek and durable device. The case’s left-side port allows for convenient charging of the iPad, ensuring that it remains powered up even when the charging cable is positioned on the left side. In my opinion, the Magic Keyboard case significantly simplifies one’s life by eliminating the need to carry multiple devices, such as a laptop, iPad, and iPhone. For those who require the full processor power of a MacBook or MacBook Pro, there is no substitute. However, for the majority of users, the iPad with the Magic Keyboard case provides an all-in-one solution that effectively fulfills their computing needs. Envision a MacBook with a detachable screen, allowing you to hold and play it like a tablet. This is essentially what you gain with the addition of this feature. I would also recommend the Apple Pencil Pro, or its corresponding version for your device. Ensure you select the appropriate version, as there are different models that correspond to previous iPad Pro iterations. While some versions may fit various iPad Pros, it is advisable to choose the one that best matches your device for optimal performance. June 3, 2025 I went to the Apple store yesterday to finally see why the thin horizontal line running across the iPad 13 M4 screen remained on my iPad 13 M4 screen from the day I received, and it would not go away. At the Apple Store with my iPad 13 M4 order from Amazon: the Apple technician said it was HIGHLTY UNLIKELY that my “new” iPad 13 M4 was new—that it was NOT actually new and but had been repackaged given the specifics below. The Apple technician told me this disappointing news based two pieces of information: 1) The line on the iPad 13 M4 screen from the day I received it—should NEVER have been there—that Apple’s oversight would never have allowed that —had I bought straight from Apple their oversight would never have allowed that. 2) The special cloth that should have been included for the NANO screen was NOT in the box. I did not even know that I SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED ONE in the box. I do believe I was duped. I am ever so disappointed/angrywith Amazon for sending me an expensive iPad that evidentally had prior usage and lacked the specific NANO screen cleaner, an essential for keeping the NANO screen clean. Amazon sold me my iPad 13 M4 as new, it was NOT. I do trust the APPLE STORE. I made a huge mistake to not go there to buy my iPad.
