  • best iPad accessory around!
Size: iPad Pro 13-inch Color: Black
I absolutely LOVE my Magic Keyboard!! I was hesitant to get it because of the price but I’m so glad I did. It essentially turns your iPad into a full blown computer. It’s very easy to use as the iPad magnetically snaps right to it and you can bend the case to easily get the iPad disconnected if you want to use it solely as a tablet. The trackpad works really well and the keys are good quality and built well. I like the backlit keys; they make it very easy to type in low light environments. I’ve been using this for about 2 months now and it has stood up well to daily use and has protected my iPad screen from any scratches or anything if I throw it in my bag. It does add a bit of weight to the iPad but it is still far lighter and more portable than my PC laptop. My only complaint is that I occasionally have difficulty getting my iPad to charge when connected to the Magic Keyboard but just taking it off the keyboard and then reattaching it fixes the issue so it really is more of an annoyance than anything. Overall I’m incredibly happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it for any iPad user! With the Magic Keyboard, my iPad has more or less replaced my laptop at this point. ... show more

  • Great accessory for an iPad
Size: iPad Pro 13-inch Color: Black
Solid build. Makes the iPad Pro feel like a slim laptop. I like that the angle of the iPad can be adjusted to some degree. The keyboard is responsive and the trackpad works well. It's nice that there is a USB-C port in the keyboard that allows for charging of the iPad and that the keyboard itself does not require a battery or bluetooth pairing since it uses the Smart Connector on the iPad itself. I like being able to easily remove the iPad from the keyboard case when I want to use it as just a tablet. I have a magnetic folio case from Pitaka that I use to protect the iPad when I'm using it without the keyboard and it is easy to switch between the two. ... show more

  • The best iPad keyboard got even better!
Size: iPad Pro 13-inch Color: Black
Attached is a picture of my 13” M4 iPad Pro, taken right before I typed up this review. The case never comes off my iPad. I don’t want to write a long soliloquy about the keyboard, as most of you already know what it’s all about. I’d like to highlight the main differences: 1) The aluminum construction is bliss! The keyboard feels cool to the touch, even after long typing sessions, especially on the meaty parts of your hands that rest on the touchpad while you are typing. 2) The touchpad… omg, it’s glorious!!! How they were able to make it even larger, with a great tactile feel with the haptic wizardry that makes you believe you’ve actually pressed a button when using the touchpad, is beyond me. I love it, and it’s one of the many shining stars with this keyboard. 3) The function key row: much needed and well laid out. I am not a fan of the volume button on the iPad itself, and they swapped the up and down for volume, and I am a creature of habit and kept hitting the wrong one. Instead of breaking that habit, I decided to force myself to learn to use the vol up and down on the keyboard instead, and it works great. The function keys are very responsive and it’s nice to not have to leave what you are doing to adjust brightness or volume… or to just skip a song and keep typing away. 4) The keycaps and switches are a little different compared to the original keyboard. There’s a little, maybe 1mm, more travel with each keystroke, with a familiar click with each keystroke akin to MacBook keyboards. I like the change, and my typing speed is as good, if not better on the new keyboard. 5) Weight: Feels a smidgeon heavier, but tbh, I am already used to how the M1 12.9 iPad Pro plus apple keyboard weigh, so I don’t notice a difference. When I am on the go, the iPad is in my backpack, so I don’t feel the additional weight. This is another home run by Apple. I already spent an arm and a leg on a 2Tb 13” iPad Pro, so I knew I had to keep the functionality of the Apple Keyboard. I love it dearly, and would never think to use an iPad without it. I have a Mac Mini for my desktop needs, but the iPad Pros have replaced my need for a MacBook. The Apple Keyboard is really expensive, comparatively, but it’s fit and finish, not to mention is superb functionality, make this worth it, in my book. 10\10, would highly, highly, highly recommend! ... show more

  • The Accessory That Made My iPad Feel Like a Real Computer
Size: iPad Pro 11-inch Color: White
got the Apple iPad Magic Keyboard Case for my iPad Pro 11-inch (M4) because I wanted more from my tablet than “just a touch screen.” I wanted a typing experience that would let me actually work, not just scroll or tap. Here’s the honest story of how this thing changed what my iPad means to me. ⸻ First Encounter: Not Just a Keyboard, a Revelation When the Magic Keyboard arrived, I assumed it would be nice — Apple’s accessories usually are. But what I didn’t expect was just how transformative it would feel. The moment I clipped the iPad into the keyboard and opened it up, a few things hit me immediately: • This doesn’t feel like an add-on. It feels like this is what the iPad was actually meant to be from day one. • The typing experience is shockingly good. Not “fine for a tablet keyboard.” I mean good — like a laptop good. • The trackpad works like it was always supposed to be there. Precise, responsive, intuitive — you forget you’re on a touchscreen until you need it. Keyboard takes a little bit of getting used to. I’ve used Bluetooth keyboards and third-party folios before. None of them prepared me for how natural this feels. ⸻ Typing Experience: Somehow Better Every Day The keys themselves are the star here. They have weight. Travel. Feedback. None of that shallow, mushy feeling you get with cheap tablet keyboards. Instead, it feels like typing beneath your fingers — responsive in a way that honestly makes long writing sessions enjoyable. Drafting notes, writing outlines, replying to emails — it all feels like normal typing, not “typing on a tablet.” That difference matters. You don’t think about the keyboard. You just use it. ⸻ Trackpad: Small Piece, Huge Impact I didn’t fully appreciate how much I needed a trackpad until I started using this one. It’s: • Smooth but precise • Great for text selection • Works across iPadOS fluidly • Makes multitasking feel almost desktop-like No awkward tapping at the screen, no reaching up or breaking my flow. The cursor feels natural, logical, and right at home. It’s not just a convenience — it changes how you interact with the iPad entirely. ⸻ Smart Connector and USB-C: Seamless Power and Connectivity One of the subtle advantages of the Magic Keyboard is that it uses the Smart Connector to power the keyboard — no Bluetooth pairing, no batteries. Just click your iPad in, and it works. That means zero setup, zero disconnects, zero fuss. And then there’s the pass-through USB-C port on the keyboard base. Charge your iPad. Connect accessories. Do it all without blocking the only port on the tablet itself. Simple but thoughtful. ⸻ Build Quality: Apple’s “It Just Works” Ethos This keyboard case doesn’t feel like an afterthought. • The hinge is firm and responsive — not loose, not awkward • The floating cantilever design gives you a laptop-like feel • White finish still looks clean and sharp • Feels sturdy without being heavy or clunky I’ve taken this thing between classrooms, coffee shops, and study sessions without hesitation. There’s a confidence that comes with a case that feels built for daily use. ⸻ Everyday Use: From Tablet to Productivity Machine Before this, my iPad was great for consumption. Reading, watching, annotating. All good. But with the Magic Keyboard, it turned into a productivity machine. I write lecture notes faster. I split screens without losing flow. I switch between apps like a workflow, not a hobby. Tasks that used to feel like “fine for a tablet” now feel genuinely capable and efficient. If you use your iPad for work, school, or serious note-taking — this feels like a qualitative change, not just an accessory. ⸻ Aesthetic and Portability It’s worth saying that this doesn’t ruin the look of the iPad. White is clean. Minimal. Apple. It doesn’t scream “rugged case,” but it doesn’t need to. It feels premium, cohesive, and intentional. And even with the keyboard attached, it’s still far more portable than a laptop. That’s the point — laptop-level capability in a device still easy to carry and set up anywhere. ⸻ Who This Is Perfect For Buy this if: • You use your iPad for writing, multitasking, and productivity • You want a typing experience on par with a laptop • You value a built-in trackpad that actually feels good • You want seamless Smart Connector power and USB-C pass-through • You want your iPad to feel like a tool, not just a touchscreen This is not just a convenience add-on. It’s a core part of turning your iPad into a real workflow machine. ⸻ Pros • Best typing experience on an iPad • Integrated trackpad improves navigation dramatically • Smart Connector means no Bluetooth hassles • USB-C pass-through preserves primary port • Premium build quality and cohesive design Cons • Add-on cost is significant • Adds weight compared to a bare iPad • White finish can show wear over time ⸻ Final Verdict: The iPad That Finally Feels Like a Laptop Alternative There’s owning a device and there’s being ready to work with it. The Magic Keyboard turns the iPad Pro from a brilliant tablet into a serious productivity device. Not just okay for typing — genuinely solid. Not an afterthought trackpad — thoughtfully implemented. Not just functional — enabling. If you treat your iPad like more than a glorified consumption device, this accessory doesn’t just fit — it elevates. I bought it to make it easier to work, study, and create. It delivered that — and then some. This is the accessory that makes you realize the iPad isn’t just a tablet. It’s a tool. ... show more
