This would be a 5 star product if not for 2 things. 1, it is very expensive for only having 1 plushie (there are smaller mystery items out there from this brand for far less money) and 2, if you want to collect all of the other mystery items (figure, squishie, plastic cat) you will definitely get multiples because there are 3 of each of those and only TWO options for the plush. We received the crystal one, but there is also an option for a golden one. Also, the listing says there are 10 pieces, but there are only 5. If you're going to have multiples of everything, make them all have the same number of options to (if only slightly) reduce the odds of multiples. But, those are my complaints as an adult. As far as the perspective of a child, my daughter absolutely LOVED this set. We have a bit of a tradition where we buy and open mystery products together and when she opened this one, I was not available...so she stopped in her tracks, put everything back and decided to wait for me so I could share in her excitement. We alternated opening things and I, of course, was handed the squishie (I generally HATE the texture of them) but we got the black lightning one and it was obviously coated in something (the powder was white, so it was clearly visible on the black...possibly something like baby powder) to make it so it wasn't tacky like they usually are, which some people may not appreciate, but I most certainly did because it wasn't the tactile nightmare that I was expecting. Overall, this is not value item, you're paying for the hype. Each item (including a sheet of...I think they're waterproof...stickers) ends up being $10, and the only thing that would even come close to that value is the plushie. One final note if you're planning on giving this to a child who likes to hang onto things, including the case, the giant cat head it all comes in is HUGE, and the quality is pretty good...so expect them to want to keep it because my daughter certainly is. Recycling it was OUT of the question in her mind.
