This object is the same as written in the description. It’s easy to put together and many colors to choose from. You could use it as a shelf, I personally used it as a shoe shelf. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.

Came with damaged finish. You don't buy from Amazon expecting the greatest quality it's all cheap Chinese import stuff. But there are products that are cheap and cheerful and usable this is not one of them. Bought two pieces from this collection as suggested to stack. Two door for the bottom and three shelf bookcase for the top. Both went to the curb with the trash. Review for two door covered with purchase. Of the bookcase unit the color is very off it is not Navy it is more of a medium blue. It arrived chipped. Made from the cheapest possible particle board. When you assembled it the holes are drilled crooked so the shelves are crooked anything you have will slide from side to side they're noticeably visibly off and measurably off. Went ahead and assembled the unit anyways going to try to use it in my pantry. Not sturdy enough to hold heavy items or my China as intended. Luckily I did anchor to the wall as instructed . because during the night the top of the two-door unit cracked in half from the weight of the empty bookcase unit on the top of it and it was hanging in pieces from my wall significant drywall damage . The lower cabinet the top cracked from just holding the empty bookcase overnight.there's no way you could use this thing. At least nothing else in the room with damaged and I had not put my very valuable grandmother's China in Crystal in it. Certainly you couldn't use it for books if it can't even hold its own weight. you could use it for display for very light items but it's so ugly you wouldn't want too. ... show more

I did not think the direction were really well for this. I don’t know if it made any difference in what order you put this together but the pieces that were to slide into the grooves of the shelves to form the back were too long to fit in, so we just put against the wall in our closet to make it look like it has a back. All the other pieces fit nicely and we had no problem. One of my shelves had a part of edge by the groove that was crumbling and a piece missing. Used it anyway. The storage turned out to be great for extra paper products. The alignment was good except for those back pieces. ... show more

This is probably my favorite type of furniture because it's so versatile. This is my second cube organizer that I have and I have so much over flow of clothing and this helps to organize the overflow that I have. I totally recommend and it's not super big but it is very roomy.

What I appreciated here were a couple of extras included in the hardware packet: small plastic shims that screw into the back of the piece to tighten up and reinforce the construction, and a small tube of wood glue to reinforce wooden pegs.
