These book cases are very useful to have using them as storage for books, pictures or prized possessions ….anything that needs a space in your home for display. They are easy to put together and relatively strong for their purpose and they come in various colors which is very handy. I bought the ones in a dark blue and they look just great as opposed to the white ones all the time. These are highly recommended for your home. In the picture below I have the 2 shelf bookcase under my desk, utilizing space that was otherwise unused. This bookcase has the dark blue coloring as you can see and I find it more interesting than the usual solid white. I bought this to add to my bookshelf, and it was the perfect fit. It’s your typical partial board, nothing fancy but it works perfectly for my needs. It was easy to assemble and it’s sturdy enough to hold my books.

    • Cheapest quality. Don't waste your money

Came with damaged finish. You don't buy from Amazon expecting the greatest quality it's all cheap Chinese import stuff. But there are products that are cheap and cheerful and usable this is not one of them. Bought two pieces from this collection as suggested to stack. Two door for the bottom and three shelf bookcase for the top. Both went to the curb with the trash. Review for two door covered with purchase. Of the bookcase unit the color is very off it is not Navy it is more of a medium blue. It arrived chipped. Made from the cheapest possible particle board. When you assembled it the holes are drilled crooked so the shelves are crooked anything you have will slide from side to side they're noticeably visibly off and measurably off. Went ahead and assembled the unit anyways going to try to use it in my pantry. Not sturdy enough to hold heavy items or my China as intended. Luckily I did anchor to the wall as instructed . because during the night the top of the two-door unit cracked in half from the weight of the empty bookcase unit on the top of it and it was hanging in pieces from my wall significant drywall damage . The lower cabinet the top cracked from just holding the empty bookcase overnight.there's no way you could use this thing. At least nothing else in the room with damaged and I had not put my very valuable grandmother's China in Crystal in it. Certainly you couldn't use it for books if it can't even hold its own weight. you could use it for display for very light items but it's so ugly you wouldn't want too. ... show more

We have this in a bonus room with a slanted ceiling. It fits really well along the low wall. It would be perfect for a bedroom or dorm room also. All pieces arrived in good shape and it was easy to assemble! Nice quality.
