I had spice jars, and they were cute, but the apothecary-type lids didn’t fit tightly, and the jar necks were too small for a measuring spoon. So, I ordered two sets of these and spent a couple of hours transferring all of our spices into the new jars. The sets come with a collapsible silicone funnel, which is a nice touch, but since spice dust stuck to it, I had to wash it after each use. So, it was easier to set up on a cookie sheet and just pour as neatly as I could. The jars are attractive and sturdy, the screw tops close tightly, each jar has a snap-off shaker lid, and a teaspoon fits, for measuring. They come with TWO sets of labels, one for the jar lids (which I needed) and one for the sides. There are a LOT of labels—including about 35 kinds of pepper. The lid labels are black and white, and look like they were chalk painted—but spice dust wipes right off. Even though there were PAGES of labels (possibly the entire Penzeys catalog worth?) I still had a few things, like Jerk seasoning and everything bagel, that weren’t preprinted. These jars also came with a whole page of blank labels AND a white marker to write on them! (It’s the little things). And, the extra sheets of labels fit perfectly into a gallon Ziplock bag on my cookbook shelf. So these are amazing ! Let me start with that Easy to use and it comes with so many labels . It also comes with a funnel to help transfer from bigger bottles of seasoning. You just have to keep cleaning it . The only thing I disliked is the fact that it didn’t come with the same exact clear stickers as it did the black labels .. So some of the seasoning only have a black label . Example : I found a black label for Sazon but it didn’t come with a clear Sazon label . I feel like it should have come with duplicate labels. They also provide labels for you to customize. Absolutely great for the price And fyi , these are the same bottles you get from the grocery store . I feel like a lot of people buy the Walmart brand seasonings so we don’t notice , but if you look at the more expensive seasonings you’ll see that these are the same exact glass bottles used for them . ( I’m getting a seasoning rack soon so excuse my photos ) lol ... show more

Pros: Beautiful jars (not all pictured), thick glass, and lots of sticker/label options available. It also comes with a collapsable funnel and marker This makes things pretty easy. The filters on the jars are easy enough to get on and off. Cons: One came broken, but the glass was not sharp enough to slice and dice if you touch it thanks to the glass being pretty thick (don’t go sticking your hand in a pile of glass, obviously lol). ... show more

Shipped when promised. Was impressed with the variety and the amount of labels you get with this order. Also that the chalkboard paint plain labels can be marked with the chalk pen then wipe it off. so if there is any spices that maybe you make yourself you can mark the jars. They are a decent size for the medium spice containers purchased from the store. But if you have the bigger spice containers you will need a larger jar. The only reason I only gave a 4 star rating is because of the funnel. Nice idea however the square on with the collapsible sides the leaf spices get stuck in the groves and it takes a little dong to tap them out. It was kinds fun to sort and label my spices. My cupbords now look a lot more organized and i can find what I am looking for ... show more

Where have these been all my life? For over 50 years, I have “spiced” up my life with the little red and white spice containers. Every time I wanted to use a spice, I had to go through all the little containers to read the front label. Thanks to this product, I spent yesterday dumping the little containers into these jars and put the round preprinted labels on top. All I have to do is look down in my corner turntable cupboard and pick up the correct jar! It also helps because I can see how much is left of the spice and yesterday, I found I needed like 10 spice refills instead of running out! I actually needed 30 jars and this set only had 24. Our local Hobby Lobby had exactly the same jars and I bought all 6 they had. (They are more expensive than this set if you buy 24, plus no labels). Now, my spices are all in the jars and I am one happy “spiced” up cook!!! ... show more

I’ve been wanting to organize my slice cabinet for a long time and I finally got these jars to do just that. I couldn’t be more happy with how they came out! The glass feels thick and pretty durable. The plastic shaker that goes under the lid was hard to get off but I liked that because it showed to me that it wouldn’t fall off when I am shaking out seasoning. I used the labels that came with it for the kids, and holy guacamole there were SO MANY pre-printed options on the labels!! Even had labels for things like “sugar” “nuts” “vanilla bean pods” it was awesome. The funnel that came with it was not helpful in adding the spices into the jars. The first one I used, a lot of the spices got stuck to the side of the funnel. So prevent spices from mixing (no one wants onion powder in their cinnamon sugar!) I just opted not to use the funnel. I didn’t have an issue getting the spices into the jars without the funnel. The jars came in a box that had little compartments for each jar! It was great for transporting and also super helpful in storing any unused jars. I highly recommend these little jars if you’re trying to organize spices to look uniform in your cabinet! I’m very pleased with this purchase! If you want the labels on the top to line up, I suggest screwing the caps on first and then applying the labels in the direction you want. I found that the lid will screw back onto that position each time. *note: I used Rae Dunn inspired labels for the front of the bottles which I purchased separately; but also highly recommend if you love Rae Dunn like I do!! ... show more
