I probably should give it 5 stars, but I am disappointed on a few points. For one, the ordering information indicated "colorful," suggesting that the letters indicating the notes were color coded. I may have misunderstood, and I don't really mind the all black SO much. Another point is that it came in separate pieces, where some similar items indicate one complete strip. Third point is annoying but I can live with it - which is that the spaces left to fit around the black keys are fatter than the black keys on my electronic keyboard. I saw the product and thought it looked neat, and I ordered it without trying to find something for a smaller keyboard, nor would I have had an idea how to ask for that, as adding "for small keyboard" still fills the screen with a plethora of "full size," and nowhere could I find a strip to fit MY keyboard. Again, I can live with it - I just have to do a lot of trimming. The last point may seem petty, but invariably the descriptions for all of these different versions of keyboard note overlays are for "kids learning to play." Please. Not every person who takes it in mind to learn to play piano is a child. I am 80 -- do not belittle my attempt to introduce my brain to new neural stimuli by assuming that all new piano students are children. The product, as I said previously, is probably worth 5 stars because, even though it doesn't fit well, nobody else makes a better fitting one, and it is adequately serviceable. But it is annoying to have to trim to adjust for the extra space left for black keys, and it is annoying to know that the sellers assume that the only people who need this are children. I have it installed now. The next thing I have to do is to scrape off the hand-written adhesive letters I had stuck onto my keys previously ... they look so messy now. The one GOOD point I would like to mention is how nice it is that the strip also shows the position of the notes on the staff, which I anticipate will, indeed, be quite helpful, so thanks for that,

Unfortunately this did not work for my piano so I had to return it. But here are the pros and cons for it Pros: - seems durable - should be very easy to clean - very helpful for beginners to find keys and it already helped me figure out my mistakes in playing from the first time I took it out. - comes in a nice container for storage Cons -the container it comes in is on the small side for what it’s storing, so it’s kind of hard to put the labels back in after use if need be. - I have a Wurlitzer piano, so I don’t know if it’s because it’s an old model or what, but the connecting part of the labels was too thick. In order to make it fit I had to hold the keys down so space would open in the back for labels to fit. But when playing, the keys they would get stuck because of the silicone labels in the back and hold the note or not be able to be played again unless I lifted them up manually (reason for return) -some of the labels are to wide so the kind of stick up between the keys and never lay flat. Unfortunate as I actually loved the help. I think it might work better on modern keyboards, but didn’t work for ours.

I’ve been teaching piano for 20 years. I’ve tried to make my own note guides with stickers and tape and paper. These are the perfect solution for my students. Good design, multi-octave, durable material. And for many pianos it will fit just behind the keys which is really awesome! Great product. I may order a class set next year!

These are just what I needed. I like that they come in 3 sections. I read the directions and they went on easily and stayed in place nicely. I did lay them flat on a table in the sun to help them flatten out a little before the first use. They are perfect for anyone needing help learning the keys. I really like that I can take them off and store them in the box when they aren't in use.
