I loved the light weight material. It looks casual but not sloppy. It’s small enough to fit under the front seat of a plane. It’s got enough external pockets for easy access. Best of all, it is the perfect size for my 5”2’ frame. It will hold the essentials I need for travel like meds, wipes, my phone, makeup, hairbrush, cash, credit cards, passport and a thin shawl. I took off the label because it is unsightly. The zipper pulls are a little loud when walking. The velcro on the smallest pocket is weak. If you put something in it, you will lose it. I also don’t like the straps. The way they hang isn’t flattering (I wearing backpack instead of purses and I like them to be cute), so I sewed them down. Otherwise it is a nice functional bag. With many many pockets (one can almost say too many). If my concerns were remedied, it would be perfect. I also wish it came in green ... show more

There are a ton of pockets and organizers to help keep your stuff organized within the bag. I knock on doors for a living to make sure people get out to vote (MAKE SURE YOU VOTE GUYS!) and I needed something that would be small enough that it wouldn't be too heavy to carry all day and also cover my back and cause icky back sweat (I'm in the south in the summer. Lord help me). I also needed a bag big enough to carry things I'll need throughout the day: water bottles, pens, clipboards, my phone, my cards. This little bag meets those requirements. I saw a review that said this thing had too many pockets and I have to disagree. There's a place for everything to stay organized which is key for my line of work so I can pull things out quickly when speaking with my neighbors. There's also a fantastic pocket that is on your back under the arm straps which is where I keep all my important personal items like my wallet and my phone. And yes, it is still comfortable. It also is a fairly deep pocket as well, so if you have a bigger wallet or phone, you can fit that in there, I'd venture to say even a medium-sized tablet could fit in the back pocket. As for the quality, the bag itself is very nice. The zippers are those nice ones that won't get stuck because they are thicker. The only issue I have with this lil guy is the quality of the arm straps. I can tell they won't last long if I put really heavy items in the bag. They are very flimsy and do not have a lot of cushion. So, I wouldn't recommend this for traveling internationally, especially if you're going to be carrying a heavy laptop, spare clothes, all that stuff like me. It would work for domestic flights, though. I also would not recommend this for school purposes as school textbooks would eat these arm straps alive and would reduce the longevity of the bag. Even just one school textbook. Regular books/journals I feel will be fine. As for waterproof, my days as a door knocker in the southeastern coast have met me with plenty of rain. This bag is holding up fairly well, BUT the stuff in my bag did get a little bit wet. Nothing too crazy, but with the papers I carry in this thing, it did get them slightly wet and I couldn't use them anymore. Overall, I do like this bag. Its color is rich, it's very useful, and I definitely got what I paid for. I would say if you're looking for a bag to use for every day, lightweight stuff, this is for you. I could see a soccer mom using this as a place to keep her and her kids' important stuff, as well as a place to keep water bottles/snacks for the family. Or a college student looking for something to take with them for a day of class and going to work afterward. As I mentioned before, though, I don't think this bag is good for say, a high school student, who takes home large books and binders for homework every day. This would overwhelm the arm straps and they will snap on you after a while. ... show more

I have a regular backpack but wanted something smaller when my work commute changed from public transportation to my own vehicle. I wanted something big enough to hold my iPad, and the small purse that has my ID, credit cards, etc. I like having pockets to stash things in. My 14 year old daughter has a bag of this same brand that she really likes. When I saw this one I decided to give it a try. For being small and inexpensive, it is very sturdy. The zippers are plastic but move easily without catching. There are a ton of pockets and it holds a deceptively large amount for its small size. The shoulder straps are lightly padded so they don't bite into your skin. I am able to fit my 10 inch iPad (in a keyboard case) in the front sleeve area. I can also fit in a Surdace Pro Laptop, a zip lock bag with a mouse and power cords for the laptop, and my purse all in the main compartment. I have all sorts of things stashed in the other pockets (sanitizer, markers, masks, etc). It isn't heavy and it isn't bulky even with all that stuff inside! Great buy!! ... show more

I bought this for a trip to Seattle and it was great at storing waters, snacks, souvenirs, toiletries, etc. It looks small, but can store a ton. We were away from our hotel for long stretches and this came in handy to pack up as much as we needed (gloves, hats, packable jackets). It also did a great job at keeping what was inside dry, as we got stuck in several downpours.
