  • The Griffy taxie

I love this thing. And my little buddies do too. I put this trailer/stroller together today and let my little buddy's check it out and get into it. Then put all 5 in and pushed it around the yard for awhile. They did not want to get out. So off we went all six of us. Went out for a couple mile walk. Got back and they said why did you stop pushing papa, lets go again. So after a little break we were off again. Another couple miles. The tails were wagging the whole time. I usually walk them but can only walk two at a time so that I can lift them up and protect them in case of larger dogs charge. Also it makes it nice to have them in there to protect them from larger dogs. So the five combined weigh about 70 lbs. Enough room for all to be in there and not be to crowded. I wanted a trailer to pull them behind my bike at slow speeds. To take them for a little fun while I get some exercise. I saw this and liked the idea that it is a stroller also. The front wheel pivots which makes it easy to maneuver. Or you can fix the front wheel for like jogging. For the price it is a very good deal. The suspension does seem to soften the ride. But I bought the 2.5 inch pad to put inside to cushion more. The thin pad that it comes with attaches by 4 small Velcro tabs that kept coming loose and pad folding up. Put a towel in but then bottom material is slippery so towel slides all over with the 5 in it. So hoping the pad will fix those problems. Also I think some type of pad would be beneficial in trailer mode to cushion ride and make bottom more durable. One thing I did not like was on the 4 corners to enable canvas cover to attach there is a large opening that the dogs paw can slip through. It is a couple inches tall and you can see through it. I think the pad will help with that also and stuffing a towel in there. The pad I believe is like two inches narrower and shorter than the bottom inside of trailer. Have not confirmed yet waiting on pad. Got the pad and length wise fine. Width was narrow so rolled up a towel and stuffed along one side. But over all me and my little buddies give it thumbs up and they are excited to go for rides in it. A couple things I wanted to share. The square tubes on rear frame sticking up that people said we're sharp and we're afraid of their dog scraping on them. Those are for the front wheel when you take that off to convert to bike trailer. To protect dog while in stroller mode. Get a couple 1 inch chair feet from your local hardware store or hear on Amazon that you can slip over them. The trailer extension folds under carriage while in stroller mode. To extend the trailer arm tilt it up on it's rear. Leave center pin in but unlatch the wire keeper. Remove other pin. Swing arm to forward position. Insert pin. Another tip is the crossbar inside buggy. For assembly to complete leave the push arm with brake lever off. Look through top. There will be a cross bar hanging. Remove pin. Swing it up and spread the top as much as you can and slip bar into plastic bracket. Then insert pin. Then install push bar with brake lever. Easier that way. To fold reverse that order. ... show more

  • Pretty happy with this stroller, with some suggestions for modifications.
Color: Red
Since I've had two of these type strollers now for my aging lab with multiple physical issues I can say for a fact that the swivel wheel makes a huge difference in the ease with which these rigs work on the smooth pavement! My old stroller, although roomier inside, has a fixed wheel and pulls annoyingly pulls to the left which makes me constantly correcting it. The Aosom Elite II has the option of either a fixed wheel, which works better on soft surfaces like dirt trails, or the swivel wheel which works great on the pavement! The only drawback for us with the Aosom Elite II is that it is a bit too small in length and height for my lab (75 lbs). His front feet need to hang over the canvas in the front of the rig so that his back end doesn't drop out. I remedied this by adding more padding in the form of an outdoor cushion with a fleece dog bed over that which I can drape over the canvas for his comfort. He enters though the back door since it has the tallest opening, but struggles to get all the way in because the ceiling slopes down in the front, so I have to stand in front of the stroller and physically pull him in by the collar. Once he's lying down all is well, but be aware that the stroller will tip over if the dog's weight is not distributed. We've had him spill out the back a couple of times now when he's trying to shift from one side to the other. All in all this stroller is made well, is easy to assemble and the price is fair. If I were to suggest any changes it would be to extend the length and make the height the same from front to back. Hope this helps anyone out there trying to decide which stroller is right for you and your pup! ... show more

Color: Red
I bought this so we could take our Bichon and Morkie with us while cycling at various locations. I was a little hesitant about the quality when I ordered it as it was not on any of the best trailer lists I found. But I didn't want to spend a lot on something they may not like. I have to say the quality and durability is way beyond what I expected and my girls love it. It is spacious and comfortable for them. Having the option to turn it into a stroller if we want to explore an area or stop somewhere to eat is fantastic. ... show more

  • No assembly instructions included
Color: Red
There were no instructions for assembly. I have left over parts I don't know what they are for. The wheels are centered on the cart base so if your pet sits near the back of the cart, it will tip back toward the driver of the cart. Wheels should have been near the rear of the cart to avoid tipping. It is very easy to push and is smooth running. I don't know how to connect it to a bike to pull as advertised. It would help a lot if instructions were provided. ... show more

Color: Red
My dogs love it! The 13 year old rides inside while the 5 year old walks happily next to her. Then when we arrive at the park, they both follow along beside the stroller. As for the trailer option, that too worked great. No matter the bumps on the road, the trailer followed behind perfectly. I only use it for light loads behind the bike but it felt as though it could handle a pretty big dog for easy rides. I love this stroller. I use it daily. We are so satisfied. When/if this one breaks down years from now I will definitely get the same exact one. It has all the bells and whistles I need. ... show more
