I have used a couple of Amazon Basic products and have really liked them so gave these gym shorts a chance. The underlayer has the phone pocket which I use for Drivers License and the outerlayer has two good size pockets that are deep which means things don't fall out of them. I like the lightness of the material which makes these very comfortable. The one thing to be aware of is that the outer layer is cut pretty close to the inner layer size. At 215 lbs the size large works great for the inner layer but I wish the outer layer had a more generous cut. But for the price you can't go wrong. ... show more

I have purchased 3 pairs of these now. The sizing is exactly as your normal size. These are primarily used for long distance running. The material is comfortable and breaths. There is no chaffing or excess perspiration occurring because the material helps to control that. I was in need of running shorts that had a pocket on the inside lining because I canNOT stand my phone bouncing all around as I run. I was not interested in purchasing an arm/leg strap to put my phone in. That was just another added step I didn't want to deal with. The lining holds my phone in place and tight against my thigh so it doesn't interfere with my running. I can't recommend these shorts enough. If you're on the fence, just give them a try. I'll be purchasing a couple more pairs to replace my other brands that don't have that inside phone pocket. ... show more

Not bad but nowhere near FabL quality. Fit is ok but not as forgiving. Inner shorts are flimsy too. But for less than 1/2 the price, can't really complain.
