I got this for my 4 year old granddaughter when they go camping as a family. I think my son (her dad) loved it just as much, lol. The stove and lantern have lights. Just need batteries. So many fun things in it actually work like the whistle, binoculars, ECT. She especially loved the bug collection, lol. My son sent this pic after they got home. She had it set up in their living room. Oh and we managed to get everything into the bag including the tent. So great for easy traveling bag for kids.

For the price its great. Material is not bad. Hasnt ripped or anything And I have two vicious toddlers. Holding up well. Small than I thought. But over all not bad.

Purchased this for our three-year old grandson. He loves everything, but I think his favorite part is the bugs! The lantern and cooktops are precious and he really sets everything up in his tent. The cutable food is a nice touch. The bucket hat is reversible!!! Some of the things aren't like *top quality*, but for the price and the amount of stuff included, it's top notch, in my opinion. Tent pops right up and is easy to fold back into a tiny circle. I was stoked to find exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend.

There are some small parts you might want to put up if under 3-4 years of age. Bought this for 2year old birthday gift and he loved it. Was a hit at the birthday party. Lots of neat items and great gift. Do need AA batteries for the lantern and cook stove. He loved all the extras- watch and fake camping food.

I only bought the 45 piece for my son. He is 2. But I bought it to see how he would react to everything. By that I mean the tent, the tools, the insects. And amazingly he understood it all. This helped me engage with my son with certain things he is not familiar and now he just does it because I do but soon he’ll get the point. I only purchased this to see how he would react.
