I sometimes I wear a tank underneath the top. I got the royal blue and my sister got black. Material is ribbed and thick enough not to show what you don’t want to show. This is a cute set but it snags easily. I ordered a M - I am usually a size 6-8. The pants fit TTS & the top is a bit larger. The sleeves are a bit belled shaped which gives it "style". I have worn out to run errands, but it looks more like pjs even when you try to "dress it up". It is super comfortable & washes easy. The Santorini blue is a very pretty color.
