This the perfect size for someone who wants to get into pc gaming but doesn’t have a ton of space. The little shelf underneath the desk can fit a mid tower sized pc perfectly. Just make sure you follow the instructions carefully because when building I got 2 of the legs confused and had to take about half of the desk apart to correct my mistake. It took some time to assemble with the included tools, but that's my game. Fortunately, everything was labeled. All I had to do was follow the instructions and it was relatively smooth sailing. The instructions suggest a two-person build. It would make it easier, but it's not absolutely necessary. As I was putting everything together, I noticed how well planned out it was. There's lots of support incorporated into the build, so it's not going to fall apart anytime soon. The only thing I think is a little off is the price. I see it as being roughly eighty bucks before tax. It's going to last, but it's definitely not going to be an heirloom. Otherwise, it's great. ... show more

Really impressed with this piece! Put this together on my own while my husband tended to the kids and assembly was effortless. It probably would have gone quicker had we been working on it together but it’s all good. This is heavy and sturdy and I like that it has two levels. The drawer is simply a canvas bin with a wood panel front but it still works well. I like the different light settings and the fact that it has three plugs and usb ports on the top level. My only complaint is that I wish it had some sort of cable management equipment on it since the back is exposed but otherwise it works well for what we want. ... show more

I ordered this to put in my daughter's room where she does her online home-school classes. She normally uses a laptop, but I thought she might like a desk where she could use multiple monitors. This desk was fairly easy to assemble and included all the tools needed, plus at least one extra of each piece of hardware. During assembly, I did reverse two of the legs, which was easy to do as they look almost identical. Unfortunately, one of them had holes for the drawer and the other didn't so I had to partially disassemble things to fix that error. The instructions were clear, it was my mistake. The desk is fairly sturdy, but I was going to put two 24-inch monitors on it and that is a problem. First of all, the electrical outlets are in the way of where one of the monitor stands needs to sit. This may be because I ordered the 40-inch desk whereas a large version might have worked better,. I just didn't want the desk to take up too much space in her room. Anyhow, I'm going to use smaller monitors that fit better. Also, with those larger monitors, the desk is not quite as stable as I'd like sitting on carpet. If it were on a hard surface, it would be fine, but it's just not heavy enough for stability on carpet with the heavy monitors on its top shelf. Overall, my complaints are minor and this is a very good desk for the money with good features and nice looks. I highly recommend it. ... show more

This is a nice desk. It is quick and easy to assemble. The blue light looks good and is perfect for additional lighting when working at the desk. It is a low profile desk and works for small spaces. Perfect for a minimalist office.
