Love the desk, debated between 4-5 stars because there were a few things I'd have liked to be different.. went with 5 because the differences were personal preference... This one is for my office, definitely considering another for my craft/work space! I got the white desk, love that it has a wood-grain look to it.. I wasn't sure if I'd like the fabric drawers, but they seem to be pretty sturdy, and the front has kind of a nice soft leathery feel to them.. I'll probably change out the handles to something more "elegant".. Lots of space under the monitor shelf, which is nice. Can't wait to paint the room, and redo the floor to go with the beauty of the desk! The monitor shelf can only be used on one side, would like the option to move it.. a keyboard tray would be a nice option too... I'm adding a shelf to the other side, and the keyboard drawer/tray.. Also going to paint the bolts to match, so they aren't sticking out like a sore thumb.. My husband put the desk together for me.. the pamphlet with the directions was nice, and once he knew which one to follow, seemed pretty easy (coming from she who watched! haha).. I'm guestimating it took about 1.5hrs to put together...

This is a well made desk that offers all the space I need for my office. I was hesitant to purchase it simply because I was afraid that the drawers and filing draw would not be up to my standard. They were described as material or fabric. I was pleasantly surprised to find all were very sturdy and moved easily within the desk unit. I chose the brown wood look and am very pleased with its look. I purchased a under the counter keyboard holder attachment in the same color and it matched perfectly. The ease of putting it together was not there. It took a couple of hours to assemble it due to trying to match up the configuration I wanted with all the other combinations. If you are looking at this, I think you will be happy with your purchase.

Great desk for the price. It's sturdy and easy to assemble with the instructions. And it's nice that you can have different configurations. It took about an hour and half for 1 with my brother help. The biggest complaint is the tolerance on the hex pattern was off on some of the screws. Getting the supplied hex wrench deep enough to allow you to turn was very challenging. For example, on good screws, the wrench would go in about a quarter inch. And on bad ones, barely 1/8th. The LED strip is okay, but unlikely I'll use it. But I could see the convenience if you were working in the evening and you wanted some dim lighting. I would buy again/recommend these but I would REALLY have liked it if there was an option with a slideout keyboard tray and a 24" deep option, easily a 5 stars. Attached are pictures from my garage/office that's getting renovated.

I generally don't write reviews but I wanted to for this desk. It was delivered 2 days sooner than expected. It was well packed and there wasn't any damage. If they hadn't placed the foam on the outside of the pieces there would have been. There was a round indentation in the foam which would have damaged the piece. The desk came with an instruction booklet with very good instructions. It gives you a supply list as well as the tools needed to assemble the desk. I wanted mine to be all one length instead of L shaped. I can always change the configuration of the desk if I want it L shaped. I followed the instructions step by step. The frame took the longest time to put together. I didn't have any help putting it together, but I have assembled many other things in the past. I had some concerns about the fabric drawers but they seem ok for now. One of the drawer fronts had a few dents in it and I put that on the bottom. I am happy that the frame is all metal as I am using the desk for my sewing machines. One of them is an embroidery machine and quite heavy. I am very satisfied with the desk and feel that it's worth the money.

UPDATE TO MY REVIEW: seller made contact and offered a full refund. Like I stated before, I actually like the desk. I will figure something out about the drawer missing a part and one part broken. I may visit a welder and see if they can fashion something for me. I actually like the desk a lot. Took a lot of time to put together. Yet there is no manufacturer contact info on instructions. I went to the manufacturer website and again no contact info. I notified the seller that I was missing a part and one part was broken. I wanted the manufacturers contact info. NO RESPONSE from seller. After several weeks I created this review. I asked for a partial refund since I now have one nonfunctioning drawer, again no response. Only option is to return the product which means to disassemble :(.
