The two metal legs only work ONE way IF you are going to use the document bag on one end. I wasn't paying attention and got them wrong, then decided to do without the bag, because I am not going to take the thing apart after all that careful tightening. Notice the bolt hole in my third photo. That needs to be facing OUTSIDE if you want to attach the bag. Same for the hook (on the other end of the table) if you are going to use it. The long bolts are used for all the main parts, with an included little Allen wrench. The short bolts are used for the x-shaped (flex/hinged) cross brace. The little tiny screws (with an extra provided and tiny Phillips screwdriver!) are for securing down the power strip unit to the desk top. I still like it, because the finished desk looks nice and is very functional, especially with a power strip up at seat level. ... show more

This desk is so easy to assemble. It was built and put into place in the office within 15 mins. The desk is a very simple design and is straightforward. But the dimensions of the desktop are great and provide enough space for dual monitors and extra desk space for other work or items. It comes with a storage pocket that you can mount on either side which is nice. It also has 2 USB ports and 2 Outlets at the top of the desk, which is super convenient if you can position your desk in your space near a power outlet. It took me roughly 15 minutes to assemble this desk. Moreover, the desk is largely made of metal, and therefore it is ultimately quite durable. The width of the desk will allow the desk to be placed in a location with limited space, and the length of the desk permits ample work area. Furthermore, in view of the sturdy construction, it is my estimation that the desk will allow for a good longevity of service. The current pricing is extremely fair. Easy assembly, took less than 45 minutes for one person to put together. Came with at least one spare part of each piece. Tools included. Outlet strip on surface of desk ion convenient. Legs are black metal and top is black plastic with slight texture. Plenty of space for computer and accessories.
