  • Best in this price, Slight adjustment, Amazing quality.
Size: 27" 240Hz AOC Gaming
It’s an OLED so its gonna be good. I didn’t have any text fringing or eye strain even after 4 hours straight use. Picture quality is great. Brightness is good enough for me.Im impressed by the colors on it. It doesn’t get any better in this price. Now the cons are that the upper side of the panel is very thin so if I want to tilt it up or down with my monitor arm I’d feel more confident doing it holding the bottom part. The HDMI doesn’t support more than 165hz on this monitor so I had to use display port for that sweet 240hz refresh rate. You could use an HDMI to DP cable if you don’t have any display port option in your pc or laptop. The bezels are a bit thicker than I expected, You’ll notice it if you work or play in bright room. For me it’s no problem. My roommate has an Samsung g5 OLED and it feels smaller than that for some reason even though it’s same size. (Image quality is better than Samsung in this). It’s a glossy display, part of the reason why content looks better than Samsung g5. But in a bright room or average light room if you are watching something dark-ish you will see all the reflection on it. While gaming it’s not noticeable. Overall a little bit adjustment but very good for the price. ... show more

  • Amazing monitor with great colors i heavily recommend this
Size: 27" 240Hz AOC Gaming
This monitor blew me away with its colors and brightness, i came from an older 100hz VA but i have used 240 Hertz monitors, though when I first turned it on, I noticed the blocks were incredible and putting an extra my VA and IPS panels. It’s just destroys them. There’s no comparison the stand. Not great but for the price that you’re paying for this monitor, I honestly did not buy expecting a great stand. I immediately put it on a monitor arm, but the colors and responsiveness and the 240 Hz refresh rate are amazing as well as the brightness like idk what people are talking about the brightness on this monitor is amazing in a bright room. It’s very good like it’s perfect. It’s and it can be brighter. It’s just good. It’s amazing. There’s no issues. The brightness of wouldn’t hurt my eyes besides that I compared it to one of my other more expensive Asus $1000 monitors. The colors are like identical. There’s really no difference. This is a great deal. And I recommend it. ... show more

  • Pretty good for the price
Size: 27" 240Hz AOC Gaming
This monitor is pretty good for the price. There are some trade-off like the lack of HDMI 2.1 and some other ports, but if you don't care too much about that like me then that's all good. The HDR is meh at best, but that's a trade off at this price and if HDR isn't your biggest priority you should be fine. I use it in a light controlled room and I don't even notice the magenta tint on the monitor unless light directly beams straight into it. The bright is not too bad either even if its on the lower end of thing. Cleaning it isn't an issue as I thought it would be due to it being QD-OLED, but with enough care there shouldn't be an issue. While not an issue for me, the stand is pretty bad since it's short and lacks much control. Just pop this thing onto a monitor arm and it's fine. Overall decent for the price, great starter monitor for the OLED scene. ... show more

  • Don't Let the Size Fool You. This Thing Excels at Everything.
Size: 27" 240Hz AOC Gaming
I am not usually one to write up a product review but I felt as though I needed to for this one. I went from a 32" curved display that I bought in 2018, to this and WOW. Massive difference in both size and overall quality. While the monitor is SUPER small compared to my 32" monitor, it excels in literally everything compared. The setup process from the box to my desk was SO simple. The monitor stand was super easy to set up. The monitor itself, even with the stand, was SUPER light and easy to maneuver. The picture quality is INSANE. I absolutely LOVE it so far. I have never used anything HDR-related and I am very impressed! Side note: Because I have used curved display monitors since 2018, I now have what is called "reverse curve" illusion. The monitor looks like it's curving inwards towards me. Apparently, this is a normal reaction and could last months. SO, if you're switching from a curved display to a flat display, you may potentially see the same thing as I am. Super weird. ... show more

  • Defective?? Defective??
Size: 27" 240Hz AOC Gaming
Not sure if this is just a product defect, but I think it is one and hope it is one, as this should not be the typical user experience. When I finished installing the monitor and finally had the chance to pull on the pull tab to take the expected protective film off... nothing came off. It took several reapplications of the pull tab before the protective film finally came off. I thought that was going to be the only problem that I'd have with it, but then just after about two days of owning this monitor, I noticed that a little bit of dust had gathered on it, so I wanted to clean it, because it's new, costs $360, and I want to keep it in peak condition. To clean it, I went with the recommended method: bottled water and a microfiber cloth, but then it left these lasting smudges on the screen. If anyone cares about what I think caused this: Adhesive layer that binds protective film to screen left even-layered residue that interacted with water to cause this smearing when wiped with microfiber cloth. Edit 1: I think that the panel is faulty on a hardware level, there is an inactive border region on the top and right sides of the panel, but nothing on the bottom or left. I reiterate that I hope this is not the typical user experience of this monitor. In other news, I wiped the rest of the panel to be consistent with the coloring of the smudge, so it looked better and I thought of keeping it. Solved my own problem? Sure. It was only after I "solved" this problem that I found out about the inactive border regions, so yeah, gonna order a replacement... Aside form that, I want to talk about the monitor beyond these maintenance issues: It's everything you'd expect from an OLED (hardware-wise): 1) True black 2) Contrast is amazing 3) Range of brightness is amazing (can be very dim, can also be very bright. ... show more

  • Amazing monitor!
Size: 27" 240Hz AOC Gaming
Amazing monitor for the price. Very fast, and the OLED looks amazing. Build quality is good, and was absolutely no problem setting it up on my VESA mount. The screen is also bright enough for my room, couldn't speak to using it outside but in a normal desk setting it's adequate.

  • in love with this monitor
Size: 27" 240Hz AOC Gaming
this was a MASSIVE upgrade from my last monitor in EVERY department (onn 24 inch IPS 100hz). this is also my first OLED. i'm blown away. amazing picture quality, great colors. i was really worried about HDR after all of the reviews saying it's really bad on this monitor. i calibrated it, changed the setting in the AOC g-menu software to "displayHDR" and tweaked the colors slightly in the AMD software and i think it looks fantastic in my games. this is also my first HDR monitor though, so i have no real reference point lol... i will say if you turn HDR off though this monitor is not very bright at all. as others have said, brightness is linked to contrast on this monitor, so if you need to increase it, you can use that as a workaround. ... show more
