  • Best budget OLED hands down
Size: 27 inch Style: QHD|240Hz|QD-OLED|Gaming
For the price this is an excellent monitor. At first glance the monitor may look a little dim, but if you mess around with the settings you’ll see the burn in protection settings are turned on by default. Specifically “Uniform Brightness” which dims the entire monitor. Pretty sweet for web browsing and coding and stuff, where some elements might be in the same spot for a while. Turning it off however, makes the screen look fantastic. Super deep darkness with vibrant colors, especially if you take the time to find the right hdr settings. All in all for 360 dollars this is a stellar buy. ... show more

  • Good entry level 1440p oled.
Size: 27 inch Style: QHD|240Hz|QD-OLED|Gaming
Its good enough because it gets the job done with 240hz sustainable OLED picture quality and looks great in peak brightness. For the price, I can't complain further, and I knew what im getting for in terms of price and performance.

  • Amazing Screen, Awful Stand
Size: 27 inch Style: QHD|240Hz|QD-OLED|Gaming
Brightness: Have no idea what people mean about the brightness, it's VERY bright. It's brighter than my old 1080p IPS! Turn 'Pixel Uniformity' off on the monitor, it brightens it severely. Monitor Quality: Amazing, they clearly poured all $370 into the monitor. Because it is amazing. You need to get this. I waited to play God of War on this thing. I was in damn near tears watching Kratos yell at his son; nothing has ever seemed so beautiful in 1440p at 200 frames. Monitor Stand: Absolute garbage. They spent $0 on the stand, and it single-handedly is why I'm rating it 4 stars. It doesn't tilt, it doesn't go up or down. Pretty sure it's a fixed angle, at a fixed height lol. Ease of Setup: Two steps, literal no brainer setup. ... show more

  • Great option for a cheap secondary OLED.
Size: 27 inch Style: QHD|240Hz|QD-OLED|Gaming
I only use it as a secondary. I have an MSI MPG 321URX OLED as my main and an older HP X32 w/IPS display . The color of the much older X32 is actually a bit better than this monitor. BUT because its OLED and for the price, its very good for what im using it for. I haven't used it for gaming so I don't know how well it works for that but as a cheap secondary OLED its good so far. I'll update if anything changes. ... show more

  • Fantastic budget QD OLED!
Size: 27 inch Style: QHD|240Hz|QD-OLED|Gaming
My last monitor was a Gigabyte 27inch IPS 165hz - which was a big upgrade at the time since I was cooking from a smaller 1080p 60hz display. But, now I got this AOC Q27GAZD QD OLED with 240hz and the improvement in color and especially blacks is incredible. I noticed the reds and greens first as they just pop. I don't bother messing with HDR in Windows 11 as it's a big hassle and so far, SDR gaming is still so beautiful I don't expect much of a jump. It's also plenty bright for my needs. The only downside is you only have 1 HDMi and 1 DisplayPort, but honestly I've never needed more and it's what allows the price to be in the mid $300s. Highly recommend this as a first/budget QD OLED. ... show more

  • It's exactly what you hoped
Size: 27 inch Style: QHD|240Hz|QD-OLED|Gaming
Writing this review at 2 months in. Ive been missing out my whole life. For the price.... it's fantastic. This is coming from somebody who is an avid gamer since 2015, spent thousands of $'s on monitors over the years searching for what THIS monitor provides. Crystal clear, High refresh rate. It has a built in, auto pixel refresh feature. So if the monitor is on for too long, you don't have to worry. The first game, the first video, the first movie you play on this screen, you will put your other monitor in the closet and not look back. OLED monitor at this price?Worth every $. Talk about bang for your buck. Pros: incredible Imagery, vibrant colors, vivid video, high refresh Cons: Doesn't like sunlight; glares on the screen like a phone (not really a con) No height adjustment Will turn off on you mid game (does give a 10 minute warning for the refresh) You will only want OLED from now on ... show more

  • Do you have a monitor arm? If not, get one!
Size: 27 inch Style: QHD|240Hz|QD-OLED|Gaming
I thought I was getting the Q27G4ZDR. I ended up with the Q27GAZD. Because these model nomenclatures are intentionally misleading. I should not complain, because this cheap OLED is head and shoulders above the PLS panel I've been using for years. My old monitor had massive backlight bleed. Colors were washed out. It was blurry. Text was hard to read. Its maximum refresh rate was 60Hz at 2K resolution. This monitor looked so different that I thought something was wrong with it—the colors were just that much more intense. Black looks black. There is no backlight bleed. Text is crisp and clear. At 240Hz, everything moving appears much, much more smooth (the difference in games is astounding). And this is a cheap OLED. If you are coming off an old IPS, VA, or PLS, you will be amazed. That said, the stand sucks. It is tiny, and only lifts the monitor maybe four inches from your desk. It tilts a little. And that's it. Thank Heavens you can mount the thing to a monitor arm, because the stand is absolutely miserable. I understand better monitors have little joystick controls for navigating menus. This does not. It has physical buttons, and they are clumsy. Fortunately, the only change I had to make was bumping the brightness from 90 to 100. It's still not bright enough for my taste, but then I've seen what a mini LED can do. The screen is glossy. There is no anti-glare coating. It shows reflections. Your RGB keyboard, mouse, and the disco show inside your desktop may be reflected. You notice it a LOT if the screen is mostly black. If the screen in lit up with productivity software or pretty desktop images, you don't see any reflections. From what I understand, the anti glare coating reduce sharpness and color saturation. When I play games, I'm generally in the dark. When I work, the screen is bright. Therefore, the glare doesn't much bother me. My old monitor had no glare, but it was garbage, otherwise (it was fantastic when new—like everything). I wish I had gotten a better stand. I wish I could have afforded a 32" monitor, but they are way overpriced. All of these gaming monitors are overpriced. But in a field of overpriced OLEDs, this is one that didn't hurt the wallet so much. If this is your price range, get it. If you can go up to $500, there are better OLEDs. And don't forget about mini LEDs. If you get this, do yourself a favor and get a monitor arm. You can get a good one for $30. ... show more
