  • AVOID THIS MONITOR
I got this monitor (24”, Silver Stand Model) for $125. I expected to not be that bad, but I quickly realized I was wrong. This monitor is the worst monitor I have ever seen for gaming. The ghosting is horrendous. I used a few ghosting tests and constantly experienced lots of ghosting. In every game I played, ghosting was heavily prevalent. I tried out CSGO to test out the 144hz display (I have only ever used 60hz) and there was always a faded β€˜ghost’ coming off of the player I am looking at in the game, clearly showing the slow pixels. There was always a trail coming behind the player. I also have an AMD graphics card (5600 xt), and the monitor would not come up as FreeSync Premium, which is what it was advertised as, rather it came up as just Variable Refresh Rate. I will say however, the brightness and picture quality were not bad, but the ghosting makes this unusable. After just 1 hour, my eyes would hurt and I could not look at this for a while. I do not recommend this for gaming at all. I would say spend a few extra bucks on a different monitor, because this monitor is not worth your money. ... show more

  • Dont buy this monitor. Its junk.
Great brightness, Terrible ghosting. Buy something else. I called aoc, and they told me to contact amazon LOL. Has a 3 year warranty. The rep was no help at aoc. Hung up on me the first time. The aoc rep basically said return it back to amazon; we can fix it, but it would take longer; amazon will replace the monitor, or give you your money back. This isnt right because it puts the problem on amazon, which, is just going to resale a broken monitor that aoc can technically fix/shouldnt be sold. ... show more

  • great monitor for my price range
it was 120 when i bought it which is a amazing deal to shed upwards of 40 bucks off the standard 15-160 price range of these kinda monitors, i had some of my best moments ever on fortnite boxing kids up and it’s a great little monitor but overall i don’t like the red stripe on the bottom, and the colors were a little off and hard to look at in some situations, it was bright enough but overall would’ve liked more picture accuracy and colors, great little monitor and if you get a 144 htz 1 ms display for 120 you get it it’s that simple ... show more

  • Great budget monitor
I'm not gonna lie. Ghosting is visible on the desktop. Very minimal. Turn on the over drive. Update your drivers. and it should be Minimal. All these other guys are over-exaggerating the ghosting problem. If you one zero problems spend 200+ green backs for a better one. For COD and hunt showdown. It does justice for me. Whether or not you like it depends on your needs and how picky you are. ... show more

  • Ghosting Comments Aren't Lying
I really wanted to like this monitor. Slim bezels, 144Hz, 1080p all in a 24" $170 package? Yeah I thought it sounded too good to be true as well. I ignored the comments mentioning the God awful ghosting/motion blur/color shifting, but it's the first thing I noticed about this monitor loading up some games. There's a veiled tracing effect that happens at the corners of your windows, pinks color shift to red and leave a red ghosting as things on the monitor move, it's really inconsistent quality control. I'm running it on a GTX 1080Ti so there's no computational bottleneck, I'm just really disappointed. I wanted to like it. I really did. ... show more

  • Problems
Despite all the great reviews, my experience with this monitor was not the best. First of all, as soon as I received this monitor, I set it up and the quality was great. Lots of cool settings and I really liked it. Next day comes, and it wouldn't even turn on. Checked my power cables, my outlet, changed HDMI cable, changed everything. Yet still, it would not work. Ended up returning it and ordering a dell 144hz monitor instead for around $200. Cautiously buy this product. ... show more

  • Afterimage (Ghosting) Noticeable
Got the monitor when it was $125 and with the specifications that it came with it was a no brainer. Little did i know of the Afterimage (ghosting) you get when you're dragging applications from one end of the screen to the other or when you're scrolling through wepages. Good luck contacting AOC customer support, they've hung up on me everytime when trying to get help from them. It's not a terrible monitor i just wouldn't recommend anyone purchasing it. ... show more

  • I don't think you'll find better at this price new
My other aoc gaming monitors just look better. They also have a built in USB hub and the crappiest set of speakers installed that I've ever heard. But the stand moves up and down and I can rotate 90 degrees. That said this monitor lacks all of those features. The picture quality isn't the best but it's not crap either. 144z at this price (159.99 new) I thought was a pretty good deal and overall I'm happy. ... show more
