Overall, I bought two of these 24in monitors at the same time. The reason I bought two 24in was because after briefly researching this AOC model, the 24in curved monitor delivers the best picture quality than the 27in and other models. I am not sure if I made the right decision but I can tell you for $150 you are getting a solid gaming monitor, no complaints. However, I am still configuring the monitor to work with my RTX 2070 super. I am new to PC gaming, so I bought this because it is compatible with nvidia GPUs, and is a great option for getting great gaming quality for cheap. The monitor works fine and everything, I just need to dial it in a bit more, whether that is windows settings, AOC monitor settings, or in game settings. Aside from gaming, the monitors came fast, well packaged, and no issues. The stands are great quality but no cable management options really, but I am looking to invest in monitor stands anyways. One thing to note is that this monitor is easy to navigate settings, which is very important because it needs a great deal of tuning to get it right out of the box. In fact, I have had the monitors for a couple days now and although I haven't spent much time adjusting the monitors, it is worth noting that because currently, the words on the monitor are a little fuzzy, and I would like to smooth that out. I highly recommend looking at other reviews in here and seeing if others have noted any recommended settings that work best. I give 5 stars for gaming I give 4 stars for everyday use, because of the fuzziness in the text when web browsing, etc. I just need to spend time adjusting, at least I hope. ... show more

I bought this monitor in late 2020 for $150, with many worries going through my head. I was worried that the colors would be too washed out, worried that the curve might be too much, worried about the quality of the product, worried about it's acclaimed 1ms mprt, and worried if the monitor would come with any dead pixels. I got none of that. What i did get was a big smile across my face. This monitor was probably one of the best purchases and investments I've made so far. The quality of the product is perfect for the price range it's in, it certainly outdoes my Acer SB220Q. Speaking of which, the Acer monitor comes with an ips panel, i was scared that i wouldn't enjoy the VA panel the AOC would come with, but it turned out to be just fine for gaming, movies, and other media. I do frequently use photoshop so the Acer's ips panel will still be utilized for that. As for the curve, the curve is just barely noticeable when you're directly in front of the monitor, which is perfect. As for the acclaimed 1ms, it's 1ms mprt, but the actual response time is probably 4ms, which is perfectly fine and you shouldn't really worry about a 4ms response time holding you back at all. And as for the people who have received dead pixels on their AOC's, mine arrived with zero dead pixels as advertised, it most likely has to do with whether or not the monitor was damaged during shipping. So should you buy this monitor? If you're looking for a decent 1080p 144hz experience, and don't care about having the best response time in class (which you shouldn't care about in this price range), and do not require an ips panel, this works perfectly. It also runs flawlessly with GSYNC enabled, just be sure to use the included Display port cable and not the HDMI cable to actually utilize GSYNC and the 144hz. ... show more

PSA: If you buy this (or any 144hz monitor for that matter) you have to make sure to go into your graphics card's control panel and enable the 144hz, otherwise it will run at 60hz by default! Lets start with the basics. 1080p 144hz at 24 inches looks stunning. In my opinion, 24 inches is the perfect size for 1080p because at 27 inches you lose some sharpness and would be better off going 1440p. This monitor is perfect for ESports titles (think Overwatch, Fortnite, CS:GO, Apex, Valorant, etc.) and there is a very small amount of ghosting (only happens on black pixels, at least to me) which is a major upgrade from the 120hz panel in my laptop that had a ton of ghosting. Mine came with no dead pixels at all which is very good. The monitor's freesync is compatible with nvidia cards for no screentearing (I run a 970 in my desktop) which is very nice because screen tearing can be distracting but vsync increases input lag which is a big no for any competitive shooters. The curve is subtle but very nice, and the monitor stand is really good at this price point. Height adjustment and tilt for this price, along with the high refresh rate, curved display, and a VA panel for great contrast?! As soon as I saw this monitor, I pulled the trigger on the purchase and I am very satisfied with it. If you're on the fence about this monitor, seriously, just buy it. Can’t go wrong with the curved 24”

Ok I bought this not knowing how if anything was good because everyone was saying the color quality’s are bad comparing it to isp 300 dollar monitors of course it’s not gonna be as good as a monitor over double the price. Personly I bought one of these and switched over from my 50” tv the difference is unbelievable if you are are switching from a tv or low quality monitor I would highly recommend this product. You will notice a huge difference it feels smooth as butter and is great.I would highly recommend this product.my monitor also came with a stuck pixel NOT DEAD at first it sucked but then I just applied a little pressure to it and it went away for ever. I didn’t find out that I could apply pressure to make it go away tell a couple hours of messing with it.even when I did have the stuck pixel not that big of a deal with anything except it’s noticeable on the boot screen that is completely black.Also it is the perfect amount of curve 1500r isn’t that notice when looking at it felt adjusted just after a seconds.overall if you came from a tv or low quality monitor bug it you won’t regret it the colors are good it 1ms and 144hz honestly I think they should be asking for more. Personally I didn’t do any color tuning at all and am more than satisfied.this product is way better then my tv and feels soooo smooth.would recommend 10/10.the only reason that I wouldn’t buy it is if you our a big editor or graphic designer and need that extra detail. Awesome for gaming, but with a few caveats

Pulled it right out of the box and centered it on my triple monitor stand. Though, after taking a good look at the stand, I can say it was definitely built well. The panel design is absolutely beautiful. At first, I was unsure if I liked the curve, but after a while, it grew on me. Really gives you a feel of quality, if you aren't used to it. Kinda like a new car. Setup was a breeze. Freesync came enabled, but the refresh rate will be locked at 60hz until you change it in the advanced display settings in windows. The colors really weren't that great out of the box. Fortunately, the user interface on the monitor is very straight forward. After a bit of adjustment, I got the picture I was looking for. I have a 1080p 60hz display that sits next to it. After all the adjustment, it came quite close to the quality, which is pretty good for the panel type. After a bit of playing around and making sure the settings were all functional, I started up a few games. After a short time playing, I quickly noticed it. I was afraid it might happen from all the reviews, but hoped for the best... But to no avail. A dark and very noticeable dead pixel, very close to the center of the screen. Well, it did take a while to notice it. But after seeing it one time, you always see it. And after a while, I started noticing more of them. Right now, I can point out 3 dead pixels. I'm willing to bet there is a fourth somewhere, as I haven't been looking for very long. So, overall thoughts. I really love the high refresh rate. I'm a semi competitive Destiny 2 player, and can definitely make use of the faster response time and added smoothness. Freesync is a huge plus. I have always noticed screen tear and inconsistent frame delivery. This was definitely an upgrade I needed to make. And the price point? I paid $140 for this monitor. Honestly, for the feature set, that's a total steal. The only thing that really urks me is the dead pixel in the center screen... If it were only towards the outside, or maybe a different shade so that it wasn't totally obvious, I would have given this one 5 stars. I will keep it for now. I'm even considering ordering two more of them, and putting one without such an obvious dead pixel in the center. For now, I say it's worth the purchase. ... show more

Very well crafted monitor I would say

As the title itself states, this is a well crafted monitor from AOC. Which to be honest I am quite surprised, since most AOC monitors are budget based, meaning cheaper in quality, but better in price. This monitor, on the other hand, excels on almost all levels for a VA display. It probably helps that the panel they are using is from Samsung themselves. Regardless it functions as well as it should in terms of sharpness control, contrast ratio, color reproduction, gamma levels, response times, input latency and so much more. Of course always make sure to test each monitor you obtain using the website lagom.nl/lcd-test, for it'll help you in adjusting the picture quality just right. Also consider using blur busters "ghosting" ufo testing tool kit, for this will help you in adjusting the overdrive settings within your monitor. In the case of this particular one, 'medium' overdrive should work just fine for any refresh rate/freesync variable. Fortunately for this particular monitor, most of the default settings work just fine and don't require extensive amounts of tweaking in order to get it to optimal levels. Overall, I strongly recommend this monitor, especially for anyone who has been using IPS panels for almost all there life. For the contrast ratio of a VA is especially big in comparison to a regular IPS panel' With most IPS panels you'll be getting blacks that are closer to grayish-black than 'actual' black like in depth, contrarily, with VA panels, you'll be getting inky blacks. Let it also be noted that freesync works wonderfully with this monitor and with an nvidia graphics card as well. In addition there are no issues with sharpness clarity as some reviewers have mentioned before and the viewing angles are top notch; They are not as great as IPS panels, but they most certainly excel against TN panels without a doubt. ... show more

I purchased this product in hopes for an upgrade from my TV, and boy was this an upgrade. I’m trying to upgrade my whole gaming setup, but for the time being I play on a console. I didn’t realize what I was missing until I got an actual monitor. I wanted to wait a little before writing a review, because as you know something may go wrong, however two weeks have passed since I’ve purchased this monitor and everything is perfect so far. I did change some settings to make it look a little different, but it’s just personal preference. The monitor comes with an HDMI cable and a Display Port cable which is very nice. Attaching the stand didn’t require any tools and was the easiest thing you could do. This was one of the cheapest 144hz monitors i could find and I’d say it was well worth it. Overall pros: -Great build quality -very sturdy -Amazing for the price -very easy to change settings -plug and play -very nice packaging/safe Cons -There aren’t any real cons other then it having red on it. It all comes down to personal preference. For me my setup is going to be red and black so I love it, but you may want to know. I took a lot of time writing this review because I’m a 16 year old wanting to improve their setup and I don’t want to spend my hard earned money on something that’ll be a waste/ downgrade, however in my opinion this product is AMAZING! *Yes I do believe that it deserves 5 stars for the price* Thank you to the guys/girls that took the time reading my review and I hope I helped you figure out a few things. ... show more

My First Gaming Monitor

I’m upgrading from a 60hz AOC monitor. AOC is a good brand, I went with this monitor because it meets my competitive gaming needs. It handles 144hz. I’m happy that the Vsync works with my Nvidia/Intel setup. I’m jumping to a higher refresh monitor because i heard it made a difference in competitive FPS games. I tried it on CSGO, PUBG, and Assassin’s Creed. Everything looked great. I adjusted the settings away from the pre-sets and made it my own. I do enjoy that you can add a crosshair to your display at the touch of a button. The crosshair is a cool advantage for shooters, and you can turn it off by toggling a button. That was quite a cool feature. I did infact notice a major difference between 60hz and 144hz. With this monitor I notice new details and player movements. I Liked that theres tons of room for customizing the settings through my PC and on the monitor itself. I set things up the best I could but will continue to tweak the settings as time goes on. Gaming looks awesome. Package got to me faster than expected: box was intact and there was no damage to the exterior. The stand is highly adjustable and sturdy. This is my first curved screen, I love it. The exterior design looks badass: black and red hard plastic Set up was easy, i loved that it came with a DVI and a HDMI cable, great stuff. I’m able to connect my monitor to my PC for gaming, and HDMI for my El Gato HD60s at 120hz. Much more than I expected, I recommend if your looking to upgade. ... show more
