  • PERFECT!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this because my riding lawn mower just quit on me and wouldn't start back up so I think it had trash in it and I tried to take the carburetor off and take the bowl off and clean it but I couldn't get the bowl off and I had spark I had fresh gas I had compression so I knew it was pretty much trash in the gas but I couldn't get to it. These carburetors are cheap enough that it's easier to just go ahead and buy one and put it on there you will be shocked how good these carburetors are even if you have to put one on every other year. Simple to put on just take pictures of your linkages so you remember exactly which way they go don't think oh I can remember that because I promise you you probably will not remember it by the time you get back around to it. Pictures are worth a million when you're trying to repair something like this. No I'm not a mechanic but I'm not afraid to try to and I got to run in and cut grass so works for me. I put it on first crank it got gas up to the carburetor second time it started right up and runs real smooth no adjustments necessary don't waste your time people just buy one I promise you you will not regret it. ... show more

  • Works with 31R707 engine. No instruction manual but YouTube has tutorial.
This will work on Murray 155-42 with the Briggs and Stratton 31R707 Engine. It did not come with an instructions manual but luckily there are videos on YouTube to guide you through. I am somewhat mechanically inclined so installation took me about 20 minutes. Once installed, my mower started right up. The extra spark plug and fuel filter was also a nice bonus. ... show more

  • Improperly advertised.
First off, this was advertised as a replacement for 594593. It's not. This is absolutely a "nikki" style Briggs and Stratton carburetor clone. I know this because I opened it up and the internals match the Nikki style not the 594593 style. Why did I open this carb did you ask? Because my lawnmower could barely run and while chugging it was spitting gas out of the intake of the carb. Reason... the main jet was missing so the engine was sucking as much gas as could flow through the emulsion tube! How you miss installing the main jet during assembly is beyond my comprehension. I won't be buying this brand of B&S clone carburetor again. ... show more

  • Plug and play!
Fired right up! Like everyone, my Briggs and Stratton 17.5hp motor was getting gas in the oil. Research said carburetor. This swapped right in and fired right up. A quick tweak on the idle screw then BOOM! I hope it lasts.
