  • Don’t think about it twice
Seems flimsy but it will hold up , my 12 year old and I had no problem setting it up, bought this with a Louisville Slugger Black Flame Pitching Machine, beats going to the park and chasing all the balls around , definitely a must buy , also fits in my small yard and like how it’s collapsible

  • Great backyard batting cage
Very happy with our Anything Sports batting cage! I was looking for a collapsible cage for our backyard and this cage works perfectly. I would consider the cage to be medium duty...the frame works great and I don't expect any issues. The net is medium weight, but if necessary, in a few seasons the net can always be replaced...what I really wanted was the collapsible frame design. Assembly of the cage was very straightforward. I assembled it myself in 3 hours. Every piece was labeled properly and the instructions were very clear. Came with everything we needed. I just needed an extra hand for 5 minutes to help raise the arches (they are not heavy, just a bit awkward to raise yourself). So far, I have had to collapse and take the cage down twice. It works pretty well, but you will need at least a couple of people to move the arches with the net attached, I'd say about a 15 - 20 minute process to do it carefully. Or, you can disconnect the net and move the arches...might depend on how long you plan to have it down. Also, I recommend raising the net off the ground when not in use to prevent squirrels, etc from getting caught in the cage (just tie it or clip it onto the cross bars). The cage has a door or pitching machine opening. We use it as a door and hit towards the fully closed end. I have a 7x7 bow net assembled as a backstop in front of the opening. It comes with velcro closures to "close" the opening/door, but I feel more comfortable hitting towards the fully closed side. You will want a protective screen inside the cage for the pitcher. I purchased a Champro Brute Z screen (heavy duty awesome screen). Also, I like having a backstop, which you could purchase a vinyl backstop and hang it, but a 7x7 bow net works very well too and is easily portable. Overall, this cage works well for us. It's a nice size for a backyard and we can do tee work, front toss or even with our pitching machine. ... show more

  • Good value.
Not the sturdiest poles but for the price hard to beat. Will get a lot of use in a small space with this product. Seller was great to deal with on 2 bent poles. Sent replacement quickly and already putting the cage to use.

  • BUY IT, BUY IT NOW!
The media could not be loaded. This cage is spectacular, I seen a lot of people have problems with the net or missing tubes but overall the reviews were good so i took a chance. Batting cages cost $60 an hour where I’m from so we use this 13-14 times and it pays for itself. Already used it 4 times in the same week we got it. My son has played little league for the past 5 years and were looking into travel, this is exactly what you need to run batting drills, fielding drills, etc. I personally put the cage together myself but it takes at least 3 people to bring it up. I did something different by having the net drape over the frame instead of inside so we get a ton more room inside, it does make it harder to pull up but if you prep the support beams and get 2 sections up and place in support beams the rest is a breeze. See my pics for my setup. Extremely satisfied with my purchase. ... show more

  • Not The Best Quality
This batting cage has some misleading descriptions. First, who ever says it can be assembled with just two people might work at the N. Pole with Santa. It took at least 4 of us with construction and assembly experience to get it done and no, not 20 mins, more like an hour. Second, the net hangs on the inside of the frame which only gives you about 30-35ft of actual usable area with less than 10ft in width which does sometimes interfere when batting. Third, the framing materials are a very light gauge aluminum so will cross my fingers that it holds up at least one softball season. Lastly, since I read how it damages easily in bad weather or high winds so, I decided to try to disassemble it like to video shows. Nope, was definitely not that easy. I guess for the money you're probably not going to find a product this size that isn't a permanent install/build so stay tuned if this one ends up being returned. I'll let you know right away. ... show more

  • 2 person job to stand arches at end of the assembly.
Easy 2-person assembly. Very straightforward instructions to follow. Most challenging part is orienting net to hang internally and standing the initial arches.

  • Thunderstorms, no problem!!
Just went through heavy thunderstorms yesterday morning, then huge gusts on winds yesterday afternoon in NE Texas. 40+ MPH winds. This was my biggest concern. Well, this is no longer a concern. This cage frame did not move!

  • Honest review
Here is my honest review. We received the package today and after inspecting all the parts I noticed the net was all chewed up (see image). I wanted to give this vendor the benefit of the doubt so I purchased after reading all the reviews. It was a risk but had to do it for you my fellow buyers. So first, it was extremely difficult for two people to build this. It was 5 of us and it took nearly an hour to set up. Not 20min. The parts are very flimsy and definately not sturdy. I give it a few months before it breaks down. The net is damaged and this is how it arrived. Hope the vendor replaces immediately before I decide to return the product. Lastly, I live near Los Angeles so the weather is hot with low winds so I do expect this to bend or fly away. I strongly recommend it is weighted down. Lastly there is no opening to walk in. There is a small hole which is used for the pitching machine (which I don't have). To access the cage I simply have to lift the net from the bottom. Not impressed. So I must say building the cage was difficult because it wasn't sturdy enough to manage by a few people and the net kept getting stuck. ... show more
