Features

  • Higher Printing Accuracy, ANYCUBIC Photon Mono X 2 is equipped with a 9.1'' 4K+ large mono LCD screen with a resolution of 4096 x 2560, and a single pixel is able to reach 48m, which is 4% higher than Photon Mono X, offering 3D printing enthusiasts a greater level of detail printing.
  • Upgraded Light Source, Photon Mono X2 resin 3d printer adopts Anycubic LighTurbo matrix light source, which can project the UV light both parallel and perpendicular to the LCD screen, providing a much more uniform light exposure, thus improving the quality of printed model.
  • Stable Printing Structure, The use of dual linear guides on the 3d machine Z-axis can effectively reduce the risk of layer shifting. Plus with POM clearance nut combined with a vibration absorption structure to ensure z-axis operation accuracy and eliminate layer lines, making the appearance of the model more smooth.
  • Great Slicer Compatibility, Anycubic Photon Mono X2 works well on Photon Workshop, CHITUBOX, Lychee etc, slicing software, and the wide compatibility respects your preferences (Please note: Anycubic Cloud service is not supported for Photon Mono X2)
  • Laser Engraved Platform, The 3d printing platform of Photon Mono X2 has a textured checkerboard pattern that greatly improves adhesion and print success rate, easy to remove 3d models. Anti-scratch flim can protect the LCD screen from resin leakage damage, save the unexpected costs.

  • Easy to use great prints at killer price
Size: Photon Mono X 6Ks
Build plate size is amazing I can fit 15 supported "not space marines" in 1 plate, very quiet and fast, I used the cones of calibrations and at 2.0 sec per layer I was still overexposed but i decided to stick with that setting and it prints without fails, the plate holds 0 without issue. A lot of online supp from anycubic community which is great I used black dlp resin I had around now I'll test with regular resing and see how it goes, I'm loving this machine I have an DLP printer and its great but the size is small, this 6ks does everything I want for my table top hobby. and the anycubic slicer it might not be the best but is simple to use and if I need to tweek stuff i prop the file in chitubox then slice in photonworkshop and no fail prints. ... show more

  • The best new hobby, you didn't know you needed
This printer has been an absolute blast to print on. A few quirks aside with the learning curve and diagnosing a few build plate issues, I have this printer dialed in. I know I've seen a lot of frustrated reviewers out there... but I don't think they did their due diligence in researching the machine before setting it up. The screen needs screen protectors. 2 of them unless you pull the factory thicker black tape over the lcd edges, and replace it with Klapton high heat Elegoo electronics tape. Then you only need one of those old iPad plastic/vinyl protectors. Not the glass ones. I've seen so many ruin their screens on the forums for not taking that warning seriously. Why the big name companies felt it necessary to not cover the lcd better, is beyond me. But it's not just Anycubic that forgoed that simple step. These machines are not plug and play. They are, in themselves another hobby, to better your other hobbies. An extension of your already expensive hobby, if you will... You need to know how to handle this machine, the same way you need to know the nuances of your airbrush, or the property of the paints you use etc. There's a learning curve. You need to not only beat your self up over not learning proper brush care, as you watch Windsor after Windsor and 8404 after 8404 get tanked, because you can't stop yourself from drowning your expensive rat fur tipped "extension of your arm" right in and through your pot of (most likely, also overly priced) paint... You need to know how to not ruin your high priced hobby tools, right? Well owning this machine is exactly the same thing! Just know what you need to do to not ruin it before... well you do. I've seen A LOT on fb groups and reddits that don't seem to learn about their investment before plugging it in and pressing "print". Heed my long, overly grandiose warning. This printer does exactly what it is supposed to. Whether you have the patience to figure out its nuances, and become a master of resin settings, support theory, electrical diagnostic technician/mechanic is another thing. This again... is an extention of your other hobbies. Creating its own macro hobby. Between miniature acquisition, to brush stroke. You now must learn the ways of your printer, to better your experience with it. My likes/pros - COST IS AFFORDABLE FINALLY - Print speed is ramped way up vs the old middle array - Print quality is outstanding - The pull of lid makes working on it a breeze - Waking up to a bed of prints is Xmas day fun - My miniature collection is at a malignant tumor speed of growth... Downside/Cons: - My miniature collection is at a malignant tumor speed of growth... - Pending on resin it can be smelly. Keep away from shared living spaces and pets - Get used to going through more nitrile gloves than a proctologist allergic to latex. - The post cleanup is messy and can leave your work area looking like the beaches of Normandy... - Failed prints can happen. And it feels like the grinch stole your Xmas morning from you. Overall: I love my printer. Quirks and all. I think the build quality and ease of use is in par with all the other big name companies. All 3d printers need to be learned and maintained. This one is no different. And for all the greek gods sake, buy a screen protector! You'll thank me later. • Fantastic printer, great quality!
UPDATE:6/7/21 This printer is fantastic! Great quality and very very solid build. The prints come out fantastic out of the box once it's all up and running, I highly recommend that if you pick up one of these or any other resin printer, that you invest in a screen protector for it so you don't end up like me right out of the gate, my first print on day one of ownership failed so badly it punctured the FEP and broke the screen. Luckally Anycubic warrantied the device and shipped me out replacement parts very quickly. I will say that the wifi feature on this printer is borderline useless, it only interacts with a mobile app that as of now now is ONLY for iOS mobile, (phones specifically) and really it let's you pause and resume prints and see remaining time, that's about it. Which isn't really worth the headache of figuring out how to set it up, which requires you to write a specific word document with your network credentials, then plug a flashdrive with said file on it into your printer, select print, select the file, THEN it connects to your network. The device can not natively join your network, so no ui menu to add wifi. Side note as well, if you are printing larger things on this unit keep a close eye on your resin levels as it has no way of detecting when you are running low. I will be sure to update my review as soon as mine is back online. the build quality of the machine is awesome, super large build plate, everything is made of really top notch quality materials. unfortunately within 6 hours of me getting mine my first print failed so bad it poked a hole through the FEP, Punctured the screen and blead resin everywhere. so uh yeah no real review yet. I WAS able to get ahold of anycubic who are being super awesome and helping me to get replacement parts and repair the printer it self. so as soon as i get a successful print ill re review. in hindsight looking for and buying a screen protector is a MUST for any resin printer, gotta protect those investments. setting up the wireless is different, and it doesn't do a great job of telling you what to do. thankfully Reddit came in to the rescue and I found a few threads on how to get that set up, much to my chagrin the anycubic app only works for iOS mobile so its ability to connect to a network is totally useless to me. other than that super stuff! ... show more
