Kennedy Violins addressed all the usual concerns with buying an acoustic instrument, a violin in this case, online. They set it up before shipping it, so beginners like me don't have to worry about where to place bridge for optimal sound. This instrument looks like its worth way more then what we paid for it. And it comes with apparently really good strings. I don't know much about the quality of strings on a violin, just repeating what the violin teacher had to say about it. Kennedy Violins team ship this violin with a load of goodies including a sturdy functional bag for the violin. This violin has an awesome tone to match the looks! Violin teacher says this is a really good violin.

I purchased this violin for my daughter. She had moved up sizes from a standard student rental and at the price it was cheaper over time to buy this instrument for her instead of renting again. The difference in sound is amazing! If you know instruments you will hear the full-bodied sound from this instrument. I played the comparison between the two and my husband was amazed at the difference. This instrument is probably expensive if you aren't committed to playing, but if you're sticking with it, I highly recommend the investment.

My daughter has been playing for 3 years, and now in 8th grade. I’ve never seen her so happy after receiving this violin. She started with a beginners violin ($80) and this was her first upgrade. The difference is tremendous. She couldn’t stop playing it. She was going on about all the difference between the two violins; I couldn’t keep up. But even I noticed the difference in sound. The violin is beautiful but they send it with the cheapest strings they sell the cheapest turner they sell and it wasn’t tuned right when I got it. Also they charge like 69 dollars more on amazon then the website and they make the customer eat the price difference. They won’t price match but the customer service is great just a little disappointed in the process and price difference

I bought the Etude Violin as a Christmas present for my daughter (she was quickly out-growing her 1/2 size and needed a replacement). Her music instructor helped us pick this particular model and my daughter couldn't be happier with it. The pictures do not do the case justice - it is an upgraded case compared to the standard black nylon cases that come with most violins. As for the violin, the wood is beautiful (no plastic) and the sound is rich and clear; it even came tuned. Three months later, Kennedy Violins called (I spoke to Elizabeth) to confirm our satisfaction. What a pleasant surprise to know that the company was concerned about their customer's satisfaction! When my daughter is ready for a full size, we will definitely return to Kennedy Violins.

Been playing this for less than a week and I’m very impressed. Unlike my first violin, this one I can play without getting frustrated by the scratching. I absolutely love it and even as a beginner it makes my notes sound very nice. All the accessories are very awesome as well. The wood is beautiful and glossy. It’s already tuned so I got to play immediately. Love it highly recommend
