First what I like The matte finish of the ANT vinyl is a bit more like black satin. I don’t like gloss at all but sometimes matte is too flat so this is really beautiful. The quality of the vinyl is good to better. Of course the vinyl has a grided back. When I was trying to slice through the backing, the paper did not delaimiate ..when it delaminates, I end up spending tremendously more time weeding as parts of the paper stick to the project portion of the vinyl. And this is a side effect of using so many different brands of vinyl ….different settings and at least a project or two ends up with at least a few cuts into…hopefully not through, the backing. When cut with a small spot still attached, it did not stretch and tear as some brands do. The roll was boxed in a substantial box, wrapped in a heavy weight plastic, cut straight and true…and held closed with what appeared to be the perfect seals for vinyl rolls. It’s been so long since I have received a secondary brand of vinyl that was boxed in something that didn’t get crushed in shipping/ wrapped nicely in reusable wrapping / cut straight, it almost brought tears to my eyes… What I don’t like…the seemingly perfect seals, would not come off cleanly. I followed the direction of the arrows and on the 3rd, did the reverse…but they separated, and left adhesive which meant I had to cut away almost a foot of the vinyl…so I lost about 6% of the roll I ordered. When repackaging, I used my saved vacuum sealer roll tapes and sealed it back, knowing they would come off smoothly when needed. Until I got to the sealing tapes, I thought I had finally found a company who could do vinyl affordably and cover all the details of the big guys. Ant got 85% of the way. Since the matte finish is so beautiful, and their pricing is very affordable, I still feel like they offer an extremely good value. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised that an affordable vinyl could be as good as this one is. The only issue is that the roll it’s on is a thinner one and the vinyl is wound a lot tighter than the leading brands and it makes it harder and a tad bit irritating to work with. Other than that, I have a 24” Roland and it cuts this vinyl nicely. I’ll buy it again. ... show more

This is as good as any other permanent vinyl I've used. A reasonable price for the quantity. Works well in Cricut and as long as you have a good math and a sharp blade it's average when it comes to weeding. I love the color.

    • Vibrant and easy to cut
With a vibrant color and adequate adherency, this vinyl roll works great for crafting projects, especially crafts like junk journaling. I find this cuts very cleanly with scissors, rotary, or even a page trimmer so you can get the exact shapes you want for the space you're covering with lovely color. While I haven't had any problems with the adhesiveness, it doesn't seem to be extremely sticky, leaving me to wonder how it would stand up to outdoor conditions. This may just work better indoors.
