Unbelievably good quality for the price point. Sturdy stitching, great quality wool fabric. Soft and not too itchy. Thin, but warm, so it's great for layering. The color is more burnt -orange than brown, but still a great color for autumn. Will definitely buy again in more colors!

I am 5'10", about 160 pounds. I bought this in a medium and a large. The large fits like it does in the product picture, so a more relaxed style. The medium was my suggested size from Amazon. This fits as well, but in a more tailored type of way. I will keep both sizes. The sleeves on both sizes are long enough, which can sometimes be a struggle for someone my height. The material is soft for a wool sweater, only slightly scratchy, but it will soften up with use. The material is a nice weight. It is thick enough to be warm but thin enough to be a little drapey. It is not a stiff wool at all. I bough it in the green and the khaki. Both colors are nice and accurate to the photos. I will most likely buy a few more in different colors. This is a great addition to a New Englander's wardrobe, I'm sure I will be wearing then from the end of October to the end of April. ... show more

I loved this sweater when I received it. Fit just how I wanted it- a little loose , comfy. It is a little itchy , but I still had enough room for a T-shirt under. After one wash by hand - the sweater shrunk so much !! I even stretched it and dried it flat on a rack . It’s no longer loose and does not look the same. My advise would be to buy a size larger !! ... show more

I don't know how to rate this sweater. It was a 5 star sweater when I first got it. It fit amazing, looks amazing, was soft, great weight and never stunk. It had that glorious slighly loose (not nearly like the arm gather in the picture but perfect for me), great length, hid the tummy. I wore it 10 times before I decided it was time to wash it. I own a ton of wool - its my favorite material - but after washing, on gentle cycle in my non-agitating (impeller) washer and hanging to dry... this sweater became unbearable due to it shrinking - a lot. Mind you, thwre are NO washing instructions on the sweater, so I washed it how I wash allllll my wool clothing, I have 20 different pieces - It looks hilarious on me now, shrunk from a perfect large to a solid small. Its short, so tight on my arms. I'm so confused because it doesn't look different (it doesn't look felted or anything now) but it's definitely tiny. The price was amazing, and the initial fit magic... but what do I do with it now. Literally heart broken, which is ridiculous over a sweater, I realize! If you buy this sweater, just... never wash it I guess?? ... show more
