This sweater is extremely oversized. I was considering returning but I kept it because it’s so comfortable. The back hangs very low, to my upper thighs (I am 5’5, 135 lbs). I found it very odd that both tags, wash instructions and size tag were sown on the exterior. As soon as I put this sweater on, it was pure love and I wore it several days before I had my son try it on. He’s several inches taller and weighs 20 pounds more than I do but he’s 18 so he looks like a stick just like me. His face looked like he’d won the Lottery When I told him he could keep it! Two minutes later, I had one on the way myself! I can’t wear wool anymore It pains me to say; I was an avid knitter and loved fancy wool yarn, especially from Japan. But now that I can’t be a wool snob it opens up a lot of other sweater Possibilities and this sweater is the best of all possibilities. We both have a black one. I may get one in a different color, but he won’t. It is so soft! And it’s not itchy at all. It washes & dries well- follow the directions! I believe we both got mediums because I didn’t want it to be clingy so it’s very large on both of us. My son loves it over tight pants because he says it looks like Trent Reznor’s wardrobe. I love it over tight pants because I think it looks really cool and I’m 57 so it looks cooler than Trent Reznor‘s wardrobe to me! The sweater feels lightweight, but it’s warm.
