I was surprised by the quality of this sweater coat. It’s fairly heavy fabric, not thin and cheapy. The stitching is neat and well finished. If you have long arms the sleeves might be short for you. I’m 5’4”, 130 pounds, 34D. The medium fit me great. I sometimes wear a small so I’d say this does run a little small so if you are between sizes I’d recommend to size up. I haven’t worn it so can’t comment on pulling, etc

Original 9/15 review below. *** Update 9/16: Received the replacement in khaki and it was a huge improvement. A minor snag or two inside the pockets and lapels are symmetrical. Seams around the pockets of this one are very well done. It was worth exchanging. *** The Good: I ordered the Khaki (warm peachy undertone) and Apricot (cool tan). Love both colors. Don’t need both but am a sucker for neutrals right now. Am 5’5” 140# 38C and a medium fits true to size. Hem hits right above my knee as I had hoped. As soon as I took these out of the package, I loved the heavier than expected weight and tight yet stretchy knit of this coatigan. Will be great for cool fall weather. It’s a pretty good JCrew dupe style-wise but quality control loses a star, and I’m being kind. Taking off just one star because after all it’s not a bad price (JCrew is $100+) for a dupe and colors and feel are really nice. The Bad: However… both colors arrived with multiple snags. Some visible, some on the inside of the pocket or lapel. Also the sewing on the lapels on the khaki one is not symmetrical. And the seams on the pockets of both colors, especially on the corners, are not well finished or sturdy. They look like they are waiting to unravel if something heavy is put in the pockets so I won’t be putting my keys or phone in there, just my hands. I requested a replacement of both colors. The replacement apricot just arrived. Bummed it also has snags and doesn’t look new. Arrived balled up in a generic plastic bag and has an odor. I will be keeping the first one I got. Picking the least obviously snagged of the two. I don’t have time nor desire to request a third replacement given the odds have not been in my favor so far. I’ll update when I get the replacement for the khaki.

I bought this sweater based on the reviews, and they were spot on! I absolutely love the sweater because it is a perfect weight, it’s easy to dress up or dress down, it’s true to size ( though the sleeves are none too long), it’s super comfortable, and it doesn’t wrinkle every time you sit down. I ordered the medium gray and it’s a lovely shade with a bit of mottling. I think it’s the perfect accessory piece for jeans, slacks, or a skirt. The edges are finished nicely, which detail is very important to me. I think you want to order more than one color. (o:]>*

I’m not sure what I expected when I ordered this, but I decided to give it a try and I am glad I did! I ordered a medium and it fit perfectly. The fabric is a soft and not too heavy. ..great for fall in Texas. It is sophisticated and can be styled many ways. Great buy.

So I just really love this! It is so soft, thick, and warm while also being so classy looking. I wear a small (I’m 5’2” and 128 lbs) in most cardigans but got an XS and I am so glad I did. It fits perfect. The color is not the typical “beige” I would expect. At first I thought it had some pinkish hues and then looked more of a vanilla-ish in brighter light. Either way it’s beautiful and I am buying more in other colors.

I was looking for a lightweight sweater that I could through on when the house was chilly or it was just cold enough to need something but not cold enough for a jacket or coat. This completely fits the bill. It is surprising well made for the money, fits well, and the color is just spring-like enough that it makes me happy even in late fall. I would definitely buy again!
