I am 5'3", 155 lbs average build and I ordered a size large. My measurements are slightly larger than the size chart listed but the top portion of this dress has stretch so it gives nicely. If your waist is larger than the size chart then you may have issues. It does have elastic in the waist so it will give but not generously. The bottom of this dress is fully lined and is heavier than I expected. It does have some flare so will allow for a slightly larger hip size. For me the sleeve was loose at my wrist and hung too long but I folded the inside elastic at the ruffle and that helped it stay in place. Overall a nice dress but the darker color is better suited for fall. Loved it, kept it and may order one of the more summery colors!

This overall is a very good dress, and it came exactly as pictured, which, of course is good. I needed a modest dress and this is definitely modest however, I do think that it is a little on the frumpy side. And this is what I am indifferent about. I’m a size small 5 foot two about 130 pounds and it is a good fit, it’s longer on me which I prefer over too short. The neckline ruffles were pretty, itchy, however I actually already planned to cut them, which I know is odd but I liked the dress just felt the ruffles were too much. I’m going to work on the fraying. I also didn’t like the sleeve ruffles, but these were very easy to tuck in. The tie at the waist definitely helps. Give it a little bit more shape it’s worth noting. There is also an elastic around the waist but it doesn’t exactly hit me where I would like and I think that is part of the frumpy problem. The neckline also sits a little heavy on the neck not exactly a choking feeling, but if you have sensory issues I can see that’s really bothering you over the course of a few hours. It makes me feel like Leanne and from the TV show servant if you know you know. I do think this would be a perfect funeral dress and I could see this for a formal wedding. However, I am wearing it for an Easter event, so I have to think about ways to brighten it up! Bright makeup fun jewelry and hair, fun shoes.

I ordered the floral pink in a size large. I'm 5'8" and 190lbs. This dress is perfect. I was very hesitant to order bc of previous reviews, however I am so glad I did. I wore this to church and to a semi upscale mothers day brunch. I can't even tell you how many compliments I received. The ONLY thing I'd change is the belt that ties at the waist. It isn't attached to the dress so it doesn't stay in place.

Wore this for my daughters baptism. I received many compliments and I thought it was adorable and very appropriate!! It was roomy but the tie around the waist allowed for it to be more cinched in! Was very comfortable and didn’t feel cheap for what you paid. It is a longer dress but that is expected! Look very cute with wedges or with any heals that have a strap around the ankle. I got a medium and if anything it was more spacious than it was fitted.
