This overall is a very good dress, and it came exactly as pictured, which, of course is good. I needed a modest dress and this is definitely modest however, I do think that it is a little on the frumpy side. And this is what I am indifferent about. I’m a size small 5 foot two about 130 pounds and it is a good fit, it’s longer on me which I prefer over too short. The neckline ruffles were pretty, itchy, however I actually already planned to cut them, which I know is odd but I liked the dress just felt the ruffles were too much. I’m going to work on the fraying. I also didn’t like the sleeve ruffles, but these were very easy to tuck in. The tie at the waist definitely helps. Give it a little bit more shape it’s worth noting. There is also an elastic around the waist but it doesn’t exactly hit me where I would like and I think that is part of the frumpy problem. The neckline also sits a little heavy on the neck not exactly a choking feeling, but if you have sensory issues I can see that’s really bothering you over the course of a few hours. It makes me feel like Leanne and from the TV show servant if you know you know. I do think this would be a perfect funeral dress and I could see this for a formal wedding. However, I am wearing it for an Easter event, so I have to think about ways to brighten it up! Bright makeup fun jewelry and hair, fun shoes. ... show more

I like the dress, and the material (green with flowers), but the waistline is weird, I'm DISAPPOINTED. It sits right under the boobs, you can't pull it down to the waist because the top part of the dress is made too short, which is unexpected for me because the model in the picture has a dress waist on her waist (maybe she has a very short torso?) The length of the dress is below the knee, exactly how I like it, but the sleeves are about 3 inches longer than expected, AND WAIST is not on my WAIST LINE! I ordered size L (true to size). I'm 5'2", 165lb, chest 38C. My usual size is Regular US women's between 10/M-12/L. I would buy it if it were sewn proportionally for Regular L size.
