To be honest I would never have picked this out but my boyfriend saw it and wanted me to get it. So he bought it for me. I thought it would feel like I was wearing a tent. Amazon suggested one size for me but after reading reviews and thinking the suggested size would be too big, I sized down. I’m glad I did. I don’t know what the FP dress is like in person but this looks similar. It’s a bit longer, which I want, so it covers my booty. The romper underneath is the same fabric as the dress. It’s a thicker tshirt type fabric. I like the fabric but doesn’t feel weird like some Amazon clothing. The romper is not very shape-wear like. It’s comfy but I’d like it to be a little more compressing. Not much Lycra in it. I would think the romper would be more like a slippy fabric so the dress doesn’t cling to it. But I find that the dress doesn’t cling to it. The shorts are a little too short. They don’t help with chub rub. I thought it would be annoying to use the bathroom but I can pull the leg of the shorts over and go without making a mess. Overall, I really like this dress and will order another one in a different color. Oh! And I love the pockets!

I have this in gray and black, and have others in my cart waiting to go on sale. I’m 5’7” 145lbs, athletic build, flat chested with a booty and thighs. Usually anything resembling biker shorts rolls up and are super uncomfortable, and I was expecting something similar here. They fit sooo well! Even a tad bit lose around the waist and crotch area, but not in a bad way. Of course I hate having to completely undress to use the bathroom, but love that I can be comfy in this dress with the built in shorts, pockets, and the look of a sports bra! Top doesn’t offer support, though, so if you’re bigger than a B, you’ll definitely need a sports bra too.

It seems like it will be comfortable, but it’s not for hot weather in my opinion. The fabric is almost fleece-like and seems like it might become itchy after a few hours — I would definitely wear a shirt underneath. The undergarment is loose fitting and definitely not what I would classify as shapewear. Amazon said I should get a medium. I got a small, and it’s very baggy, so I probably should have ordered XS. Overall, meh. It’s not ugly, but it’s not what I hoped for.
