I wrote a review about how much I liked these glasses but also how easy these broke. The company contacted me and offered a refund even though the time to do so had passed. Very friendly correspondence. They said they have upgraded the earpieces so they won’t break so easy. Im ordering again now to see. If the new ones don’t break so easy I’ll change the review to 5 stars because outside the earpieces breaking they are awesome glasses. Crystal clear and very comfortable. I’ve been using 1.75 readers, but they weren’t cutting it anymore. I’ve bought these in 2.50, 2.25 and 2.00 strengths this month. The local chain pharmacy wanted $28-$35 for one pair of Readers! The local grocery wasn’t much better. But I was able to put on a pair of 2.50s and thought they were great for reading. So that’s what I bought. Yep, great for reading, not even close for using the computer. Focal length was way too short. So, then the question was, “buy 2.25s or 2.00s?” Well, if 2.00s are too weak they go straight to the trash. If 2.25s are too strong they go into a drawer until sometime down the road. Yep, 2.25s were still too strong, for not, not for long I suspect. The 2.00s are doing the job. Oh, you’re still waiting for a review… The price is great! The product is great! (Remember, I’ve bought a lot of them.) Yes, they have a bit of a petrochemical-plastic odor. I suspect it will fade soon. That’s not why they lose a star. Every pair of readers I’ve ever owned had the strength stamped on the inside of the temple. That’s important when you get to the point of having various strengths lying around everywhere. (If you’re not there yet, you will be. Trust me.) Not these. The ONLY indication of strength is the sticker on the upper outside of one of the lenses. So, the sticker stays. It’s in my peripheral vision but does not impact anything I’m reading. I’ve warned my wife that I’m going to look stupid for the rest of my days (nothing new there), or at least the six years it’s going to take to outgrow my 2.50s. They're light weight and comfortable, but the arms broke one after the other. Edit. The company offered a refund and informed me that they replaced the plastic arm with metal arms. I appreciate the efforts to stand behind the product. I personally like the how the glasses fit and will be ordering the once with metal arms. ... show more

The good thing about it is it is cheap. It came with a set of three pairs and you can put one in every room. I even brought three sets of different strength, 1.25, 1.5 and 1.75 for different needs. For example, to read the really fine prints, I need 1.75, but it is too much for everything else. It is also by far the most comfortable ones I have tried, the legs are rubberized so they are not slippery like those plastic one and it is vey light weight. The down side is because it is so cheap, it is also cheaply made. Although the legs are rubberized metal frame, it is as brittle as hard plastic. I got one broke in less than two weeks. The other short comings are the lens while by far not the worst, it is not as transparent as I like, the yellow tint for the blue light block made it even less transparent and produces color shift. The lenses are also prone to get smudge and difficult to it cleared and it gets worse as time progresses. Overall, despite its short comings, it stands above average among the none prescription reading glasses I have tried, certainly of best value. ... show more

After 64+ years of wearing glasses, I needed eye surgery for cataracts. Afterward all I would need were light reading glassed. My wife uses readers, so I thought I would try these. Right strength, right fit. They are great. If you only need readers, look at these. Good price too.

The glasses as far as their prescription were spot on.... They are also lightweight. However the earpiece portions are made of plastic and two out of three pairs.... The earpiece snapped right off where it's screwed on to the hinge.
