I don't need a strong reading diopter, depending on distance +1, +1.25 or +1.5 will work. When the frames on my bifocals broke and ai had to wait for the optometry office to get a replacement, I went looking for readers. Wow, the ones in big box optical departments are quite overpriced and most are not appropriate for the male face. So, I looked here on Amazon, read the reviews and figured $10 for three pairs, why not. I found the +1.5 version to be really good for small type and close work, but a bit much for watching video on my tablet or using my computer. I ordered another three pack in +1. Perfect. Needed some new readers as the old ones became too weak and I wasn't certain if I wanted a 1.75 or 2.00 which were both recommended by my optometrist recently. I figured for the price I could afford to experiment and once I knew the precise strength I would invest in some comfortable expensive ones. I was pleased to find the 1.75 allowed me to see my email and essential sport page websites with great clarity and were far more comfortable and sturdy than I expected for the price. These are now my new comfortable expensive ones and I will stay with these until they too get weaker and need to be replaced with a higher correction lens. The only drawback is they have no strength indication engraved on the side piece like my expensive ones but since these are distinctively different in design I can know these are the 1.75 readers. ... show more

Was originally going to rate these glasses as three stars, but it appears the seller may have fixed the problem (plus they appear quite responsive). I purchased a set of three last March. They're extremely lightweight and comfortable, and the lenses are of amazing quality for the price paid. However, as others have experienced - I just broke my second pair last night in the same spot for both next to the hinges. I ordered another competing set of three before I read into the reviews that indicated the seller has fixed the problem; but if this new set doesn't pan out better than I'd like, I may beat a path back this ways again. Update: I ordered another set of these glasses (slightly higher magnification, too - I'm getting older, LOL) as the competing set I purchased did not have nose pads and must be returned. BREAKING NEWS: the temple pieces of these glasses ARE NOW METAL! The seller did indeed improve upon my one complaint by moving away from plastic temple pieces and I've advanced my rating to five stars. To top it off, this set of three eyeglasses are outrageously low - what a great buy! ... show more

I had cataract surgery, and needed glasses for reading. Bought the 1.75 as I had bought even cheaper glasses from a dollar store at 1.5, but these weren't quite strong enough, and were uncomfortable. These glasses are the opposite, well made, comfortable, and 1.75 is perfect. They have a slight brownish tint, but after the surgery I'm sensitive to brightness so this works really well for me. 100% recommended for fantastic value for money. ... show more

I ordered the 3-pack that was supposed to come with 3 different color frames, but I received a 3-pack of all the same color of frame. That being said, they seem to be of good quality and a fair price. It's just disappointing that I didn't receive the 3 different color frames.

This wasnt a bad purchase in my book. Was starting to have blurred vision at random times and wasn't able to read fine print when that would happen. Ive been using my phone more then usual lately and realize the blue light may have something to do with that...so the fact that these magnify a little bit AND have blue light blocking lenses was very helpful to me. The glasses seem to be of good quality and don't feel like they would break easy so that's also a plus...for 3 pairs and the price I'd say 👍👍 ... show more

At first take, the frames seemed like exceptional quality. However, after wearing each for a few days, I found a lack of precision in the build quality. Nothing that gives them a negative review, but enough to keep me from giving 5 stars Each one tilted to one side (and different sides and amount for each) which meant that I had to put a slight bend in an arm on each to compensate. The lenses seem spot on and focus well. If I could, I would give 4.5 stars because of the overall quality combined with the exceptional pricing. ... show more
