This was the perfect gift for my husband for our 5th anniversary! He has recently gotten into whiskey and I wanted something for his refined taste. When we received the product, it was missing the tongs and velvet bag. I was a little disappointed at first wanting it to be perfect for my husband. I reached out to them at Frederick James and they were quick to respond and send the missing items. Not only were they friendly, resolved the issue quickly, but ALSO had a sense of humor. 😊 (Having worked retail myself, I understand sometimes items are overlooked but there is always a resolution to solve the issue at hand.) We received the missing items a few days after reaching out and a hand written note (see pics). My husband is happy with the hand blown crystal glasses and thickness of their bases. He also had no clue what he was missing before trying the steel cubes that keep his whiskey cold for hours (he definitely prefers them over whiskey stones). Ordered this for me husband as a wedding gift and the first shipment arrived and the wooden box was broken in several places. The set itself was really cool though so I ordered a replacement and returned the damage one. Originally gave it three stars because the set itself is really nice, the box was just, well, broken. My updated review: Received a replacement for the damaged item and was very impressed by the response time from the seller and how quick the replacement shipped. It arrived still in perfect time to give to my husband. He absolutely loved it! It’s definitely a unique gift and classy at that. Was really impressed by the presentation of the set as a whole.     • Perfect gift for whiskey lovers!!
I absolutely love this!! The glasses are a nice thick crystal with smooth etching. I love that the cubes are stainless steel instead of slate. We have slate cubes and my hubby doesn’t like the way it makes the whiskey taste. I do have to say tho, the outer layer of the box is not real wood. It’s a beautiful replica but it’s not the real thing. Our lid came to us completely cracked so I had to return it. The replacement was perfect! But because of the soft “wood” finish it can become easily damaged. I’d still recommend this tho! I’m giving it as a birthday gift and it’s getting REALLY hard to wait lol. I hope he loves it as much as I hope he does!!! ... show more

Bought this for my husband as an anniversary gift. Really nice gift and paired it with a nice bottle of wiskey. Only complaint I would say it that the glasses were cover in some type of white film and liked dirty. Otherwise the box was really beautiful looking and he loved it.

I ordered this Oct.8th it was delivered the next day..(our anniversary) Packaged well in a box & bubble wrap! Beautiful box with engraving the glasses are sturdy glass not cheaply made & beautiful etching! The smell of the cedar box was amazing as soon as he opened it! I bought this for my husband for our anniversary. I love the box engraving and the box is being used on the said for alcohol pods for our Bartesian. the glass cup is light not so sturdy, we have not used the cubes yet but plan to, I hope it does not disappoint. I don’t know if I was repurchase this item again for the price I paid but my husband said it was a thoughtful gift. I think price should have been lower. ... show more
