I really like Anna Griffin card boxes. They each have an over riding theme but there are many pieces that can be used for various other projects. The box that I ordered had a masculine theme which provided me many card making options for men (Father's Day, Birthdays ect.).

What I received was not the entire kit as described. No dies, no idea sheet with code and no box. So disappointing! Sending it back. Can't make cards without the dies and instructions!!

This kit is really nice! First of all the packaging and presentation is fantastic. The box is great quality and has a drawer that you pull out. It's certainly not cheap packaging and box is clearly meant for you to be able to use even after you may have used all the included papers and decorative elements in this kit. It shows an image on the top that aesthetically gives you an idea of the type of items you'll find inside and includes the name of the specific kit. Inside you will find a variety of good quality papers and elements that when put together will create the aesthetic of the indicated kit. There are suggestions included for how to use the pieces together and a coupon to access the on-line tutorials. If you want to make the exact items in the examples, it includes everything you need to do so and goes over three different variations in the style. Most of the contents are not reusable as using the papers and sentiments and embelishments to make cards will be permanently used up in each card made. However, you could purchase or make more materials in a similar style to refill into your drawer. If all this came with was the papers and decorative embellishments and sentiments and such... I would say this is extremely overpriced. however it also includes 9 reusable die cut/embossing plates and an embossing folder. Now, don't get me wrong it's still a pricey kit but in my opinion the inclusion of the die plates makes it possible to reuse many time in the future with other papers and elements. however the value of those plates is bit dependent on what other crafting tools you own. There are other methods of using these plates by applying pressure with things like rolling pins but the the plates are designed to be used with an embossing machine like the empress (by Anna griffin) or the sizzix. Those machines allow you to just insert you materials and dies and they apply even pressure for perfect die cuts or embossed elements. The dies and folders aren't useless to those without the machines, but they are much harder to use and harder to get nice results. Overall, I think it's still a little overpriced, but worth it for some especially for those reusable parts and the luxury elements and feel.
