To be clear- only the character cut-outs with word bubbles are included. Although I love the inspiration images on the product listing, I wish that there was at least one image that clearly showed only what is included in this kit. Having not purchased any of this line before, I assumed that some of the other layering items in the product images (pictures of corners, books, cakes, stamps, etc.) were part of the "toppers" in this kit. Again, only the pictures of people with quote portions are included. I tried to spread some of them out and take a photo to share what is included. Otherwise, the Anna Griffin Beaux Regards Collage Card Toppers kit is well made with quality printing and gold foil details on thick cardstock pieces. They feature high quality artwork with sayings are slightly sassy and fit my sense of humor. There are 48 of the "card toppers" and 24 stickers included in this set. If you are a crafty person, you would layer these on a cardstock with other pieces for a unique gift card. At about $0.75 each based on the current list price of $36, I would call these a good value considering the price of a typical birthday card at the grocery store. I think these card toppers are hilarious and I ordered them mainly to make a birthday card for my husband. However, having seen all the variety in this box, I can think of a handful of other people in my life who will get a kick out of these. The quality of the paper and the illustrations is really nice, and the stickers are of great quality. I had to look up what you actually do with these things and now I have all kinds of ideas. I'm an art historian and love the artwork and the humor of these toppers. The people I will give these to are also historians or people who share my sense of humor, so I know they will be appreciated. Your mileage may vary depending on who you give your card(s) to. I always use Sobo glue for collage and it works great with these toppers. The one thing that really hurts with this set is the price. I know the prices of greeting cards in general is ridiculous, but in the case of the toppers, we are actually building the card and providing most of the materials, so paying almost $40 for what is essentially collage paper (albeit, very clever collage paper) seems a little steep. Regardless, I like these a lot and I certainly think the cards I make with them will be a hit. ... show more

Ok to be clear, I didn't fully understand that this was a "make your own" kit until it arrived but the kit is easy enough to use and becomes a unique way to craft a card. Design is good all around - good print quality. Some of the fitting of pieces was off but not a big deal in my opinion. I liked the old time graphics - a bit quirky but fun. Where i found it a bit off was in the phrases. It's kind of like a popular dry humor e card site, but less crass, yet still some of the messages seemed weird/off and not something I would gift to most people. Some decent ones, but my partner confirmed it wasn't just me - some phrases don't quite land in my opinion. These toppers make a great addition to a card of gift. Lots of different occasions and sentiments. The stickers can be added for additional effect of used separately. It would be nice if they had double sided tape already applied to the back so you don't have to find some to attach it to your cards.

The Collage Card Toppers Kit just comes with the toppers. Just for disclosure, the cards, and decorative papers to make the cards pictured are not included in the kit. The actual card toppers are clever and fun. The sayings make me chuckle or gasp. The toppers are easy to use and look great with the stationery from the Anna Griffin line. Anna Griffin products are pretty awesome but up until now I haven’t had any of them in my papercrafting supply stash. I’m pretty happy with these diecut card toppers because a lot of the collage work has already been done. It saves me a lot of time when putting something together in a hurry. I needed a quick card and all I had to do was cut a base and two mats to match the colors of the card topper. I added adhesive foam to the back of the topper for some dimension, trimmed the “ribbon” to fit the mat and apply! The golden satin ribbon was included with the topper so I didn’t have to add any further embellishments! I considered adding one of the included sentiment stickers but the topper itself was enough. The toppers and sentiment stickers came in a nice decorative box, it isn’t a sturdy box but it is enough to keep the toppers and stickers contained. A fold over flap secured with a hook-and-loop closure help keep everything inside. The diecuts and stickers are a nice heavy stock, maybe a little heavier than cardstock. The gold foiling is bright and exquisite. The printed colors are vivid and bright yet appropriate for the art style. The designs are predominantly masculine which is great! I don’t have a lot of supplies that are masculine. The sentiments are somewhat gender-neutral but the overall artwork is on the more masculine side. There are more earthy and nautical themes as opposed to lots of flowers and birds that would be in a more feminine selection. ... show more
