I've been waiting for Anker to release a wireless charger that could quick charge Google Pixel phones and this one is finally it, fast charges my Pixel 4XL at full speed. For Pixel owners, unfortunately features such as Sunrise Alarm are still tied down to the Pixel Stand, but for charging this will do it at full speed. If you've had any other Anker products you know what to expect for build quality: -The stand is sturdy and has a nice matte black finish that doesn't show smudges. -The base has a circular rubber foot to keep it from sliding when you place your phone. -This stand includes a wall plug in that can detach from the base, it isn't permanently attached thankfully. -I've not noticed any heat issues. My phone with a case on it and the stand itself haven't gotten overly warm from charging. I have confidence in Anker's wiring, but you've got their warranty in the event you get a lemon. -The wall plug is a little on the large size, you may have trouble plugging this into an overly-cramped socket. The cable itself is quite slim though, I was able to route it through my desk easily. -The small blue power light on the base only illuminates when the phone is actually charging, thankfully not on all the time. I do not use this on my nightstand, but you may want to point the light away from you if you're trying to sleep. I do not find it to be overly bright, but be aware in case you were going to use this on a nightstand. Overall I am very satisfied, if this is anything like other items I've bought from Anker I expect it to last. ... show more

It doesn't fast charge my S20 although it does say fast charging on the phone... I have 3 wireless chargers with this Anker charger, seems they all max out at 1600 mah or so... looks like only Samsungs 15w will fast charge this phone.... Update: 6/24/2020...Just received my Samsung 15w Stand Charger, and this does fast charge my S20... 2833 mah reading at 77% charged.. ... show more

Charger works good as long as you position the phone in the exact right spot... The precious model was much easier to place... The slightest vibration on this model and the phone stops charging... Update... The company replaced with a different model that works great, they also wanted the one I had back so tech support could figure out if was a quality or design issue... All at their cost... Great support... ... show more

I know my head line is cheesy, but this wireless charging stand is a hit with me! The three best features for me is 1) Portrait and landscape charging positions, 2) AC power cord instead of a micro usb cord and a higher voltage power block, 3) quality build and materials used. This will be in use for years to come at work and home. Charging Tips: If you have an otterbox defender case or a pelican military grade case and or you have one of those knobs on the back of your phone, you will not be able to wireless charge at all. You will have to remove the case first or switch to a slim line case with no knobs or wallets attached. This was worth the money to me and I hope if you order one as well that you will love this charging stand as much as I do. ... show more

    • Better than the pixel stand
I have a pixel 4 XL and I wanted a fast charging wireless stand. I bought this and the pixel stand and was planning on using this for my travel bag and the pixel stand for my night stand. After a few nights of frustration with the "realign phone" error message using the pixel stand, I swapped it out for this Anker charger. This charger is wayyyy better! It starts charging the very instant it's placed on the stand! I've never had to realign it once! Did I mention I have a otterbox case on my phone? Perhaps that's why the pixel stand kept having issues but that's unacceptable when it's almost double the price. I plan on returning the pixel stand and buying another one of these so I have one for home and my travel bag. The only downside is the plug but I get it needs it's own ac adapter to give the charger the power it needs so it's a small trade off. Another thing I didn't like about this stand, but it's a very small complaint, is the blue LED light shining in my face when the phone is charging but that's nothing a very small piece of tape couldn't fix. Also don't be alarmed if your pixel doesn't say "rapid charging" when being charged. I was like "what the?!" when I first used it but quickly noticed the time left till battery full was significantly faster than a standard wireless charger. So even though it doesn't say it, it is being rapidly charged. ... show more

Being an IT Consultant means that living and breathing tech is part of life. I've used all the big name wireless chargers in the past, and this is by far the best bang for the buck. For me, the name ANKER automatically provides a sense of dependability, and this product is no difference. While there are many "fast chargers" available on the market, this product truly meets the advertised 15watt wireless charging power (for my Samsung device) that I depend on throughout the day. I love this product so much, that I've not only equipped my office with one, but also my nightstand for both me and my wife. Would be great if it worked...Bought it to charge my new iPhone 12 Pro Max. Once I put my phone on the charger (have to find just the right spot), it only charges for about a minute and then stops. Ends up draining the battery rather than charging it. Too bad, I usually love Anker products.

I previously tried a couple flat wireless chargers and it was a nightmare trying to find the sweet spot. This upright Anker Charger is amazingly easy to use, as it aligns your phone perfectly just setting it in the cradle. I have a fairly thick phone case with the Bodyguardz Slidevue (which is the most amazing phone case ever) and the wireless charger has no issues charging my phone in the case. The charger comes with an actual dc plug with a barrel connector to the charger. I much prefer having the plug to all the usb multi connector nonsense. The cons are the ledge to sit your phone on should be slightly deeper and the rubber pad should be better attached on the edges. ... show more
