One of these failed in just over a year, inexplicably. Plugged in one night before bed and assumed it was charging. It didn't, phone died, alarm never went off, late for work, fun.

Had to get some extra charging cables for my wife's iPhone and these work great for the places where we need a longer cable. They are a little stiff but the ends where these cables tend to fail they look very well put together and don't have enough flex to fail in the usual way. Not suitable for tight spaces as it doesn't want to fold or coil easily but you probably don't need a 10 foot cable in a tight space. ... show more

I bought two chargers and two cords when on sale. Have always liked Anker products, and these seem to be up to quality. I have been using one set daily since arrival. Fast charging, thick cords, good tips (don't see them breaking as standard Apple cord does from flexing at the charging tip). Had to drop one star because the set I gave to my son, worked for two weeks then stopped charging. I tested his wall plug and that is good, assuming the cord might have failed. Great cable with awesome charging capabilities. The cable was in my backpack with a laptop and iPad. The cable was rolled up and tied with the provided velcro wrap, which was a bonus! The cable was in the same compartment with the laptop. I set my backpack down on the table gently as the laptop and iPad were in it, and it must have pinched the USB-C side as the silver connector part bent to almost a 90 degree angle. The cable was not salvageable and I chalked it up as a loss on my part. The pack I purchased was a double and the second cable has been working flawlessly since I received it. ... show more
