I’ve been buying Anker iPhone cords for ages - always finding them to be an MFI certified, more affordable alternative to Apple brand cords. They’ve always held up well - certainly longer than the brand ones. On this last purchase however I obviously had a dud as this 6’ USB-C 6’ cable pooped out less than a week after my 30 days to return on Amazon was up. (Btw as soon as you start to hear that noise folks - like a very quiet law & order bump bump - get that charger out of your phone because it’s losing its connection and draining your battery!) I figured I was out of luck but I wasn’t going to take a risk with my brand new iPhone 13. On a whim though I contacted Amazon customer service via chat, explained the situation and they gave me a link to contact Anker about the problem. And BOOM! They contacted me back, asked me to send them a screenshot/pic of the order receipt, a pic of the Anker logo on the cord and to provide my mailing address. Then they told me my replacement cable would be on its way and I’d receive the shipping tracking soon. All of this was in less than 24 hours. The next day was Sunday but Monday morning I had another email with the shipping tracking number for the replacement. Every company will have glitches now and then. Update: Within one day of posting the review below I was contacted by the seller and asked to submit a request for a full refund. That is what I call EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I will definitely buy from this vendor again! I give them 5 stars. “Unlike what I expected this cord will charge my iPhone 11 Pro only when inserted one way - flip it over and no charging occurs. The difference is mind-blowing when compared to the standard lightning cable. Seriously, when combined with a standard 20w charger my phone (iPhone XR) charges more than a percent per minute. One of the best purchases I've ever made.

I really enjoy Anker Products. Purchased this last August but recently began to open slightly until it opens and frayed. So it lasted almost a full year. Finally came back to check and saw they offer hassle free replacement. I’ve emailed them and I’ve included the info an automated email provides in case the same happens to you and require your replacement. Hopefully the replacement will last many years to come ... show more
