I purchased this cable in order to connect an Anker external battery to my iPad Pro. The cable was able to charge my iPad quickly. The build quality is definitely better than your standard OEM cable and seems comparable with other products at higher price points. The end of each cable seems quite large, but this may be due to internal circuitry and the large size actually makes the ends easier to grab/handle. Although not exactly the same, I’ve included a picture with several other cables for comparison purposes. Like the 3ft red cable very much. The cable is more flexible and smaller than the II+ version, and more sturdy than the II+ version. this features make it easier to carry and use. Hope this time Anker will have 1ft version soon. the II+ version didn't have 1ft version. It's expensive now. wait for on sale and buy more. ... show more

This is a great cord. The red makes it stand out and easy to find in my dark interior car. It’s a few dollars more but I’m tough on cords so the warranty makes it an even better value. I’ve never had a bad product from Anker.

What I received is not a USB to Lightning connector. It was a charger to Lightning connector. In other words, it does not connect to a standard USB port. I don't understand how it advertises as a USB connection.
