Purchased to use as a long USB data cable from a RODEcaster Pro 2 (USB2) to a USB-A/HDMI/USB-C power pass-through adapter on an iPad. Since audio from USB class compliant audio devices easily runs over older USB 2.0 supporting cables, this cable is good to get further than a USB 3 capable cable would (because the max spec for USB 3 data cable length is much shorter than USB 2). Even though it is labeled a charging cable and has a thicker build, I don’t use it to deliver power to my source or destination. This cable is 10 feet. I use these cords all the time and purchase them almost exclusively when I need new cords. They are plenty long and are extremely strong and durable. However, they are flexible and allow for shaping and wrapping so can maneuver where needed. There is a velcro tie to keep excess length of the cord wrapped which is useful. Wanted a good cable for the Quest 2 and this is just what I was looking for. Some small things are holding it back from being perfect, but it's good enough for my needs. The Good: +10ft is more than enough to move around. +Really fair price. +Charge and syncs cellphone. The OK: +Charging power depends on where you plug it in. If you plug into a PC, a battery will hardly charge or even lose charge. If you plug into a wall outlet, you'll get a good charge. I can see why others say it doesn't charge the quest while it's being used. This feels more meant to charge overnight and give you a wired connection during play. This is a review for multiple items used as a cheap alternative to the official quest link cable. I started off by using Airlink and virtual desktop when I got my quest 2 to play PC VR games. Both software had their pros and cons but I did not like the noticeable lag I got with both even though I have a very good wifi connection. I have seen many reviews complaining that this setup does not work. I'm not sure if they are having a hard time connecting it but I did have trouble at first and this is what I did to fix it. If you have Airlink enabled you have to disable it if you want to connect via link. Next not all USB 3.0 slots will work you have to try every single USB 3.0 port on your motherboard and PC to see which slot works. I have no idea why this is the case for some people but try every USB port before giving up. item 1: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077XBDKBH?ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details&th=1 not much to talk about since it's just a right Angle USB C Male to Female Adapter but build quality seems good and you are given 3 so if one were to break or stop working you have multiple. Item 3: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0179MXKU8?ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details&th=1 very long extension cable but it does have a coil. this could be easily removed if you stretch it out a bit but if you don't mind the coil then I guess its fine. charge is not fast enough to charge headset while in play. i started playing with my charge at 98% and I played 1 chapter of Half Life Alyx (30-40 minutes), 1 hour of Into The Radius, and 30 minutes of The walking Dead saints and sinners. all these are the most intense games I own. after I was done playing I was at 84% charge. I'm sure there's something on the users end that can be done to prevent the headset from dying while in use and if I can find out how I will update this review. other than that I highly recommend this if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the quest 2 link cable. ... show more

The data transfer rate of this cable is it's best feature, not so great for charging as it delivers relatively low charging speeds especially for the price but buying this for my small external SSD or if I want to move pictures from my PC to my Phone works perfectly! 8/10
