  • A compact, portable powerhouse of a charger...
I was first introduced to Anker phone charging products on a popular morning tv show and am now an Anker snob if you will. Anker makes top of the line charging products for many different brands and devices which makes compatibility and fit a breeze. I am a huge fan as their products work as advertised and are manufactured to last using quality materials and the most up to date technology . The Anker 160W 3-port Prime charger has decreased my phone charging time dramatically and being able to charge 3 devices at once is an added bonus. It uses usb-c to c charging cords (of which I also use Anker brand), has a display screen right on the charger that allows you to scroll through active charging data by tapping the button on the charger while in use and doesn't get warm/hot to touch like other charging devices I've used. This is a compact, powerhouse charging device that is worth every penny spent. I will definitely be purchasing more Anker charging products in the future for all of my portable and home charging needs... ... show more

  • Blazing Fast, Premium Quality — Anker Never Disappoints
I’ve been an Anker fan for years, and the Anker Prime Charger 160W (3-Port) once again proves why I stick with this brand. This charger is incredibly fast. It powers my laptop, tablet, and phone simultaneously without any slowdown, and each device still gets the full, optimized charging speed it needs. The 160W output is no joke — it handles power-hungry devices effortlessly and cuts charging time dramatically. The build quality feels premium, just like every Anker product I’ve owned. It stays cool under load, the ports are intelligently managed, and it completely replaces multiple bulky chargers with one compact solution. If you want reliable, ultra-fast charging from a company that consistently delivers, this charger is absolutely worth it. Anker continues to set the standard, and this is easily one of the best chargers I’ve used. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Excellent Charger – Powerful, Compact, and Premium Quality
I purchased the Anker Prime Charger, 160W 3-Port Compact GaN USB C Charger Block, Smart Display and Touch and it has been an outstanding charger. The first thing that stands out is the power and versatility. With 160W output and three ports, it easily handles charging multiple devices at once such as a laptop, phone, tablet, and accessories. It is especially useful for people who travel or want one charger to manage everything on a desk or nightstand. Despite the power, the charger remains impressively compact thanks to the GaN design. It takes up far less space than older bulky chargers and feels ideal for modern setups. The smart display is a surprisingly nice feature. It gives useful charging information and adds a premium feel that separates it from generic chargers. The touch controls are responsive and make the device feel thoughtfully designed. Build quality is what I expect from Anker—solid, reliable, and polished. It feels like a product built to last rather than a disposable accessory. Charging speeds have been excellent, and I appreciate having fewer chargers and cables cluttering the area. Overall, this is a premium charger that delivers on performance and convenience. If you use multiple devices and want one high-quality charging solution, this is an easy recommendation. Five stars. ... show more

  • Powerful, compact, and perfect for travel
I’ve been using the Anker Prime 160W GaN Charger, and it’s honestly one of the best chargers I’ve owned. Despite its compact size, it delivers serious power — I can fast charge my laptop, phone, and accessories all at the same time without any issues.

  • Amazingly small and functional! Try to get it on sale, though.
THE NEGATIVES FIRST: -Goodness gracious, I hope you know which power outlet you want to plug this into, because once you plug it in... well, it may as well be glued in. It is VERY DIFFICULT to unplug... which is good, I suppose; you won't need to worry about it falling out of the outlet, that's for sure. But I felt like the plug prongs were going to break with how much force was needed to remove it. Keep that in mind if you have carpal tunnel or arthritis!! -I bought this charger specifically to test Anker's proprietary charging protocol: 150W. First off, do not do this yourself, as there are many prerequisites necessary to triggering this specific protocol. For example, there is currently only 1 device capable of using it: the Anker Prime 26K Power Bank. So if you don't already have one of those... you ain't getting 150W out of 1 port. That being said... yeah, it's not worth it. The slightly higher current draw needed to achieve 150W on a 28V supply causes both the power bank AND this adapter to reach their respective thermal throttling temps faster, which actually results in the 26K power bank taking LONGER to reach 100% SoC than just charging it at the standard USB PD3.1 speed of 140W (1h10m@150W vs. 1h6m@140W). Only certain Anker charge cables are compatible with the 150W mode as well, so you are better off using a much cheaper EPR cable and only charging at 140W in the long run. NOW THE POSITIVES: -Basically everything else! This adapter is so small for its power capabilities that I was genuinely amazed! It literally fits in the palm of my hand (and I have small hands)! Even some 140W adapters are larger than this one. Truly amazing stuff here! The screen is also very informative and quite accurate, the temperature bar-graph-style indicator being a personal favorite. App compatibility is nice, though admittedly not needed. But I must applaud Anker for adding an option for 12-hour screen-on time. It's accessible in-app only, but it is a vast improvement over the previous max of 30 minutes, which is a limit imposed on even their most high-end SOLIX power stations (seriously, add 12-hour screen timeout options via firmware updates to all applicable devices, Anker... pretty please). And as far as thermals, which I thought would be horrendous... they are actually quite good! It will do 140W for at least long enough to charge a 100Wh power bank... so it's at the very least good enough! At this price ($115 at time of writing), it is just a little too high for me... but I still recommend it. It's quite nifty and interesting, and for Anker fanboys, basically a no-brainer! ... show more

  • Nice and small, lots of power!
Upgraded from the problematic Anker 717. This unit has more ports and I like the screen. I am not a huge fan of needing an app to change certain settings, but I understand why, there's not much of an interface otherwise. The bluetooth features do work well, and I am pleased this charger doe snot have the problems of the older GaN chargers. I love the smaller size of this unit, and it puts out great power. The intelligent charging function is pretty neat, but more of a gimmic I think. Either way it sharges great, I would reccoend. ... show more

  • Love it, But it can't sustain 160W without throttling down
I really like this charger. The screen display seems like a gimmick but is very helpful. I like seeing the power draw of devices and being able to configure what draws what. I mainly use a laptop, Thinkpad P1, a workstation laptop, and there is a setting to max C1 power and prioritize this over other ports. Works great. My laptop draws 75W-80W steadily, and a portable external monitor draws 25W. Runs hours without overheating, though that is a relative term with GAN chargers, which get warmer. So why the four stars not five stars? Anything over about 110W--and it could vary a bit depending upon which ports are drawing what--and it gets hot to the point of overheating rapidly and throttles down. This is, in essence, a 100W-110W charger in terms of continuous load it can sustain, with the ability to support higher wattages in brief spurts of less than a half hour. It is probably not honest to market it as a 160W charger, but that doesn't stop Anker and every other company on planet Earth from doing so. I don't usually need more than 110W, so this isn't a deal breaker for me, but it remains a little bit disappointing, though not surprising, that companies lie to infinity like this. I could not test 140W 1 port capability, or whatever it is, only 100W one port, and it could sustain that. With higher voltage, might expect a bit less heat, in theory. Realistically, you need to buy a GAN charger with a significant amount more power than you need, in terms of its rating, if you want it to be sustained for more than brief spurts, like for working all day or something. If you really only need 110W continuous, and don't mind paying twice what it should cost, this is probably the best GAN charger on the market. This thing is basically retail priced at $1 per W, LOL, close to it. ... show more

  • One Charger for All Devices
This is a great charger. I use it to replace two Apple MacBook chargers. I like that it is small and quickly charges my laptop and iPhone. I also like that it has 3 USB-C ports, so it is the only charger I need.
