The cable is surprisingly lightweight compared to the previous Anker cable (Powerline II) I had. I was a bit iffy purchasing this as my CarPlay cable for my car because I was unsure if a USB-C to USB-A adapter would work. I first bought an adapter to see if it would work at all on a gaming accessory. It worked. So, I thought, if that worked, then it should work with CarPlay. Having said that, if buying this cable with use with a USB-C to USB-A adapter, it should work for CarPlay. I have not had any issues with the functions that CarPlay offers compared to a regular Lightning cable. My previous Anker cable (Powerline II) was getting iffy when certain parts of the cable curve would cause a USB connection error. Because the Flow cable seems so pliable, I do not think I will ever need to replace this one because the cable is going bad. The only time I think I may need to replace it is if Anker releases a successor to the Flow. I only wish Anker would make a 10-foot version to replace my current 10-foot cables. I cannot give any star rating for the "Durability" early into my purchase (barely just a few days since I received it). ... show more

The rating is for the grey cable. I did not like the color Amazon website describes as grey. It is lilac. Thought it didn’t look look grey when ordering, but thought it was the graphics. The cord is flexible an probably durable. I rate the green and white 5 stars. I am changing my rating on the grey Flow cable, since it is only the color I didn’t like not the function. ... show more

The color is pretty solidly lavender (not gray), like pic, which I like. It feels very nice in the hand, doesn’t tangle, and is Anker quality. Works great in my car (love the 3ft length for car—seems hard to find) with Nekteck type C/lightning duo rapid charger. Great combo.

Anker did a really good job designing this cable. The flexibility is something to behold. The feel of the cable is really nice. As far as speed, I do not know if the charging speed is increased or not because I charge at night while I am sleeping. Overall a really nice cable.

I got this for my grandmother bc she needed a new charger. I wish I had ordered myself one and I plan to. This thing is solid and feels nice and you can tell it’s very good quality. It comes with a cord keeper to keep it rolled up if you like.

I keep this in a little bag with my power brick and use it to charge my iPhone and airpods of needed at work. Charges fast and no problems in the couple weeks I've had it. The silicon shell is more flexible and seems smaller than the woven fabric shells. It's expensive but I'll buy another of I lose this one. ... show more
