  • GOT KIDS? GET THIS
My kids always forget to charge their devices before we leave on a road trip. As soon as they start to complain I pass them this battery backup. It's just so easy and saved the day many times. Two kids with their faces glued to screens haven't been able to deplete the battery. There's always more where that came from. It's a convenient size and I keep it plugged into the blue tooth port in my car's glove box so it's always ready to go. It has turned out to be quite durable too, surviving drops, super hot car interiors, and excessive use. I've had it for months or more now and see no change in charging speed or capacity. ... show more

  • Pleased with it.
Once I figured out a big no no it worked great. Do not leave a cord plugged in. We charged multiple phones on one charge. We used it while on trip to Europe. It was easy to toss in a backpack for the day out and about.

  • Convenient small package.. if worked correctly (updated)
Bought this in advance of vacation to replace my 2 Anker 5k slim batteries that were quite aged (the cells started to swell, sign to replace). Plugged to charge multiple devices ranging from iPhone XS, iPad Pro11, Samsung S10 along with using this via its Qi charger. The Qi charger was what I expected in that charging 1 phone suffers a lot of wasted battery strength and did get the battery very warm but its convenient. Charging via USB-A or USB-C simultaneously using the was possible ... but for some reason my copy of the PowerCore III 10K Wireless would not allow me to use both USB-A and USB-C at the same time, it would only charge 1 phone or tablet, didn't matter what the device was plugged in on either A or C ports, using an assortment of Anker Powerline + and Powerline II/III cables.. very strange. Honestly b/c this was in prep for vacation I didn't want to deal w/ anything and opted to replace it through Amazon because the process is a lot faster. The replacement arrived next day but, I guess there was a manufacturing 'defect' on it, the rubber ring on the textured side of the battery for the Qi charging side falling off! There was no adhesive found on the ring at all. But unfortunately for some reason this battery also performed the same way where it wouldn't let me charge USB A and C at the same time... yet A or C with Qi charging worked fine. I did email Anker to ask about this and they said the charger should be able to use A and C together. I elected to return this one as well because the trip was going to start and I still had my older Anker 13400 which has been a workhorse for us. I think its just a bad batch of batteries or just my luck as this was the first time I've had an Anker not perform. Will try again in few months time hopefully it was just batch variation on my part as I am very interested in having a battery with these features from Anker. **UPDATE** Sept 15 Anker reached out to me after the review posted and worked to understand the capabilities of the battery. I purchased the battery again knowing its expectations and I was still in need of a new battery anyway. The battery will charge my iPad Pro 2018 on USB C very quickly. It will not charge the iPad on USB C and my iPhone on the USB A..I suspect due to giving the iPad maximum bandwidth. But it will charge my iPhone on A or C and a Galaxy S10+ on the other charger. The 10k stacks on the my XS pretty well and is comfortable to hand hold while using the Qi charging or with a short cable. With my initial short runway to figure out the features before putting this into production for myself I ran into some difficulties, checked the reviews and some folks said it can some can't charge certain devices. Having had the formal conversation with Anker I understand what it can and cannot do, its still a solid Anker product that I'm using to replace retired PowerCore Slims. Charges what I have and hoping it will last the 4+ years the Slim's did! I am improving the original rating from 2 to 4 stars. thx ... show more

  • Portable. Stick it a brief case or coat pocket
This has made it easy to power up my power hungry iPhone when I am away from home. No wall wart, cord or outlet. No danger that Some one might take my phone if I am away from it The only minor flaw is that when this gets warm while working, the little scratch-preventing rubber ring on the case comes off. I haven't lost it yet but I anticipate that. I like having this so much that I bought one for my daughter. Anker stuff has never failed me after several products. But The instructions are too tiny to read and too full of other languages. Anker: please give me a way to keep the languages I need and throw the rest away. ... show more

  • Great power bank from a great company
Anker is by far my favorite brand for power banks. I remember when I bought my first power bank from them years ago and I was skeptical. After so many years of using them they’re the one brand I trust for power banks. This power bank is amazing and has excellent capacity. I let my coworker use it to charge his phone. The first time it was on 4% and it charged his phone to 78% in 2hrs. Anybody who has used Anker power banks should probably know about the LED indicator lights. Each one stands for 25%. After my coworker charged his phone all four LED lights were still on, telling me it hadn’t reached 75% yet. The next night he uses my power bank again. Not for as long this time, maybe 30mins. I checked my power bank and it still had all four LED indicator lights on. It still hadn’t reached 75% capacity yet despite it being used for 2 ½hrs total. That’s simply amazing. You charge this power bank with USB C, you can charge your phone either wired or wirelessly. I haven’t drained this power bank down to 0% yet but when I brought it home and charged it while I slept, it was done and full by the time I woke up. You can charge your phone on the power bank while charging the power bank itself at the same time. I feel like this power bank will be reliable for me for a very long time. If you are looking for a new power bank or never bought one before and are looking at this one, I can tell you Anker is a great brand to buy a power bank from and their power banks won’t let you down when you need one. ... show more

  • Slow to charge and mag portion isn’t magnetic.
The mag part of the charger isn’t magnetic so you have to place your phone strategically to make that feature work.
