They are super cute, and I like that they both lace up and zip so I can adjust the fit as needed. The toe box is roomy, and the size seems spot-on. I normally wear an 8-8.5, and the 8.5 fits perfectly with thick socks. Unfortunately, I found the very thick and firm foam padding around the back of the upper to be uncomfortable, so I took it out. I like to lace up my boots snugly, and the foam put too much pressure on my ankles. They do not provide much arch support, so I added an insole. Finally, I do find them a bit of a challenge to put on because the laces stop right at the top of my arch. Even with the zipper all the way down, the opening is very narrow unless I loosen the laces. These are nice boots I lime them they need a better inse for more comfort but they have no loop to pull them on so the hill crushes .Why would you not put s loop to pull boots on .This makes them a deal breaker cause they are hard to get your foot in without crushing the hill.

Where I live we don't get a lot of snow, but it does get cold and muddy and the terrain is very rocky and mountainous. These boot are perfect for that. They keep my feet dry and warm when I'm walking around on our farm, and I'm never in fear of slipping and falling. They are hard to put on, but that's cuz I have large heels and most shoes give me trouble around my heels. They fit my feet comfortably everywhere else. I do recommend to go up at least half a size. I also recommend wearing longer socks with it, I wore bobby socks with it and I got a nasty blister on the back of my ankle. I love these boots and I would totally get 5 different pairs just to have different colors. ... show more

    • Had to add feet cushions, side of feet sill hurt on long hikes, but I still like them.

It's hard to find comfortable boots. I thought these were, but after 3 hours the ground felt very hard and my feet hurt. I added inserts. After two days of hiking the side of my foot hurt. With inserts they are very comfortable for short hikes.

I am obsessed with my boots!! They fit perfectly, didn't require a break-in period, are sturdy, water resistant, and comfy for being on my feet all day. True to size, I'm an 8. Will absolutely be buying more of these!

These shoes are good for the price. I ordered the 18-spring brown and they are definitely more brown than the picture shows to me. The soles are sturdy but the cover of the toe is decently thin. The toe is very roomy. I am a usual 8, ordered an 8 and my foot has plenty of room. I would not size up even if i wore thick socks. Overall this is a cute inexpensive option.
