We Are LOVING this board. I learned to play darts on the arachnid machines that you feed cash to, at the bar. I used to play often with friends and really enjoyed the experience. I was looking for that same feeling in purchasing a board for home use. The large machines at the bars are usually made by this same brand so I was hoping for the same quality and feel. I am pleased to report that I did get the quality and feel I was looking for. We have had 3 game nights using this board and are really enjoying playing all the standard games. We like the sound of the announcement on the board and while it is loud, if you have a group of 4 to 6 people in your game room or play movies or Tv (like we do) then the volume is great. My husband and I both really like the darts that came with this board. Others are describing them as "heavy" and resulting in "heavy throws" which make it hard to get the darts out. We are not finding that. In fact, I was concerned about this issue based on other reviews. I went ahead and ordered the "Dart pro soft tip plastic darts, 4 colors, pack of 12". We played with the arachnid darts and had great accuracy, nice grip and NO BOUNCE OUTS or misses. We tried out the dart pro darts and lemme tell ya... dislike! Those darts are way too light and feel terrible in hand. They bounce out a ton and we often had not nice/errant throws with those flimsy darts. I do not recommend buying those, unless you have never played darts before or you want them for guests/roundy children. The display here is great and easy to read once you get acquainted with it. I was a little overwhelmed at first but then we learned how to operate it and it's a breezy. Keep the manual around, it clearly explains the set up on new game/adding players... I am thinking of making a quick start guide for guests. We also really like that this is not battery operated but it is plug in. We happened to have an outlet right below where our board is plugged in so it worked out nicely. Keep that in mind when purchasing. Dos: Order some extra arachnid darts, just like the ones that come with this board and enjoy your board. Don'ts: do not order the plastic, cheap dart pro darts as suggested in other reviews. I looked at other boards here on amazon, some more $$ and some less $$ but I am convinced that I paid a great price for a nice group of useful features and a quality item. Highly recommend!

Love this board and it works well with all of the dart I play league with from 4g to 20g in weight. Not too many bounse outs unless you tend to arc really high, but that will happen with any board. My biggest issues are no way to correct a scoring issue(that I could find) and I personally find the cricket LED's to be hard to tell green from yellow...but that could just be my old eyes. Would still prefer the X and O. Overall, it has been a reliable board and has proven much better than many others I have tried in the past.

I have bought them all, on the cheap side, Ex SportsCraft 1000 for $9 on the internet, piece of garbage. I then turned to the higher end electronic dart boards and all I can tell you is WOW! I just received the board yesterday and I played for two hours. This board is everything I wanted. The only difference between this and the 750 is the number of games. If you go with the 800 you get even more games than the 750 and a different readout for the Cricket games. The LED's on the 650 are very bright and easy to see in a brightly lit room. It comes with two screws to mount it to a wooden stud in your home, but I did not have any of these because my home has the metal studs. I used two wall anchors from Lowes (Cobra Hollow Wall Anchors). This is way overkill for the weight of this board but I like overkill! =) The fit and finish of this board is the best I have ever seen. I will compare it to the coin operated boards I have seen in sports bars. The darts that come with the game so far have not bent any tips but I am sure there are better darts you could buy if you wanted to. The darts have some weight to them, unlike the ones that come with the cheaper dart boards. I am very happy that I purchase this dartboard. The only negative I have is with Amazon. They shipped the item in it's original box, which is Great but they did not TAPE the Box Closed. I received the item on my door step and I could open the box! Doesn't UPS want every boxed tapped up?!?! I guess this is the SUPER SAVER SHIPPING method where you save the $13 on shipping. I will contact customer server at Amazon about this. Once it left their warehouse it only took two days to get here. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and I will gladly tell my friends about this.

This is our second CricketPro 650-- the first was purchased in 2015 and worked as advertised for 4 years. We live in a coastal area, with the dartboard occasionally exposed to salt air, so it was acceptable for it to stop functioning after that period of time. However, we got our second one and it has never worked since we took it out of the box- it turns on, plays the melody, and then spells 'arachnid' across the scoring display, and that's it. I've gone through all the troubleshooting tips with no success. I contacted the customer service email, and they have been wholly unhelpful- I've sent the video of the machine malfunctioning (per their request) and responded to all of their inquiries-- they, in return, have responded with 1 sentence emails- "Did you try resetting it?"/"Turned it on & off?" I did all of those obvious steps in the video they requested!! So far, this is a company that doesn't stand behind their product- there is a simple and obvious solution to my problem- a functioning dartboard. Beware if you purchase this one, you may be taking up an un-fun hobby of communicating with a glib customer service rep repeatedly rather than playing darts.
