I am completely obsessed with Olive Oil! Due to the many health benefits, flavor profiles, and myriad of uses, it’s probably THE MOST essential item in my entire kitchen! That said; this Olive Oil has a very distinct, almost (not quite) “in your face” presence. It’s absolutely EVERYTHING you would expect from a Greek oil. It starts with an extremely herbal, green aroma, (thick STRONG sun on freshly cut grass and herbs), medium to almost strong viscosity finishing with very distinct notes of green, pink & black pepper and sage. I’m in love with the texture and versatility of this oil. Great for sautéing or roasting, it’s a great dipping oil, but I would shy away from using it for dressings, as it’s strong aroma is a little overpowering for delicate greens. Great, all around daily use olive oil!

Ancient Foods Keros Greek Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil – Cold Pressed Olive Oil from Greece, High... I am pleased about the texture and the organic taste. I only use this oil for special cooking that only calls for small amount, like on eggs, pancakes, salad, dips, for toasted bread and use for replacement of butter when baking cakes and muffins. I also use it for topical lotion for skin. It moisturizes my dry skin. No allergic reaction from this olive oil. I like it a lot. Thank you for this good product.

Wonderful EVOO - soft and buttery with no bitter aftertaste or “bite.” Not as flavorful as the Sicilian EVOO, but you can’t have everything. Also, big kudos to the distributor for a great double-insulated packing job. Bravo!!!

Just when i thought I'd tasted it all! First impression, thick than most olive oils, and hazier. Flavor is very bold, like olive oil squared. I detect very little pepperiness like many oils, but the flavor lingers. This is like an olive oil IPA compared to a cream ale. It's pretty heavy on the tongue, but deliciously earthy. Tastes like it came from 1000 year old trees. Oh, wait! lol This will be killer on bruschetta or a bowl of pasta.

I luv shopping online for ORGANIC EVOO that I cannot buy locally. This particular USDA CERTIFIED ORGANIC EVOO is a product of Greece. It's cold-pressed, EARLY HARVEST & high in phenols. Not only does it provide a wide range of health benefits, it's a multi-tasker in the kitchen. We use it to cook, saute, bake, roast, braise, in salad dressings & to drizzle over food as a finishing touch. The flavor & aroma is buttery/peppery. Occasionally, I'll take a tablespoon 1st thing in the morning on an empty stomach. It helps with G.I. issues.
