This is not an Anchor Hocking product. The glass is cloudy and it has seams on the sides and lid where there shouldn't be seams. And the seal on the lid is very weird. Its hard and curls up in places. Not a quality product. I will return it.

    • Nice Canister But Not "Airtight"
The description says that this canister is "airtight", and in the photos showed a rubber seal. When the canister arrived, it is in no way "airtight", but is just a glass lid sitting directly on a glass canister.

    • Not air tight
The lids slides on these. I bought 2 sizes for flour and sugar. So, the sugar can get stiff from humidity leak and a 3 pound bag of flour fills it to the top with flour getting on the rim. I do like that they slide easily across the counter and are heavy tempered glass.

I have many of these canisters and ordered this to replace one that broke after many years use. I am disappointed that I was sent a canister with such an obvious flaw in the cover. The jar was well packaged to make the journey and arrived quickly, but I am dumbfounded that a human packaged this to send thinking this would be ok.
