It may sound as though I am an advertiser for Anchor Hocking… I am not. But I love all of their glass bakeware; It is sturdy, easy to handle and wonderfully made. does not scratch. Easy to clean; even crusty bits come off easily with a brush once it has been soaked it for a half hour or so; otherwise it doesn't even need to be soaked. Dishwasher safe. I didn't really need this casserole; I wanted it. I have been dealing with a 1 quart casserole dish made by someone else for years now, but it has curved sides on the bottom. What I wanted was something that I could use for a regular casserole, but also for putting in a bottom pie crust for a nice big family-sized pot pie. use it with great satisfaction!

I love these little dishes! They are the perfect size for individual chicken pot pies. One pot pie recipe made 4 individual pies. Baked all 4, saved two for leftovers. I reheated the leftovers in the oven, and they tasted exactly like they did the first night. I love that they’re oven safe.

I've made several loaves of bread now. They seem to work just fine. They don't seem as smooth a finish. I feel more minor imperfections in the glass or surface when compared to my Pyrex glass dishes. But that doesn't affect the baked goods. I'm glad I bought them.

Delivery was quick. I needed these pie plates asap as I was giving them to someone as a gift. He was going to bake many fresh cherry pies and tarts. When I went to open box, I could hear broken glass. Fortunately, only one plate was broken. I threw it away and gave the other 5 plates to my friend. I didn’t have the time to deal with returning them. I have always liked this brand and it’s products and know that I will enjoy baking with these.
