I love this necklace! It is dainty and beautiful. I ordered it because I wanted something that I didn't have to take off and that I could continuously wear. I have showered in this necklace at this point. It looks the same as when I took it out of the package. The gold is such a vivid and bright color. A beautiful statement piece. I wish I could do it justice in the pictures. I loved the package it came in. It's on brand as it's sustainable, reusable, and really great quality. This necklace is really well made. These "mama" necklaces aren't new, I've seen dozens but some instantaneously look better than others & this is one of them. The makers of this necklace just get it, the simplicity of the necklace overall, the size, the delicate chain, the font, the little details at the clasp- that's what set this apart from others. It keeps its shine as well. I did forget to take it off when I showered & it was luckily unscathed as a result. I do have a history of sensitive skin, my whole family does but we all seem to outgrow it & I thought I had for the most part. I am relatively new to plated jewelry, I did gold plated silver for a while before branching out to other pieces that were tarnish proof or resistant, hypoallergenic etc. Initially I had no issues with this necklace, I love the look of it & got many compliments & people asking me where I got it. But I then began to notice my neck turning red & starting to break out, which is not a thing that happens typically. I loosened the necklace & that seemed to help as it limited contact but it didn't seem to eliminate the issue. Luckily it's not too itchy or anything & I'm finding that so long as I remember to take it off after a few hours I can still wear it. The plating appears completely intact so I can't say for sure what exactly is setting my skin off here, it's the first time I've dealt with this for years.
