We top it with Amy's slow-simmered tomato sauce - a balance of sun-ripened tomatoes, classic Italian-style seasonings and fragrant basil. What makes this pizza unique is our shredded mozzarella-style cheese alternative, which is free of cholesterol, lactose and other common allergens but full of flavor. I am sure this is GREAT for vegans or vegetarians. I got it to try because reviews mentioned it had more sauce than others..., which is what I prefer. I did not like the cheese, myself, but I eat real cheese all the time, so to me it seemed sort of pasty and sticky. I can say it did melt. And I was NOT thrilled with the taste of the sauce,... and to be fair, sauce makes a pizza for me. (I get my pizza with almost no cheese). So I did not give it real low marks because others may love it. I won't be getting it again for the above reasons. ... show more

Best gah damn frozen vegan pizza I've had, especially if you throw some extra stuff on there. Particularly great, rich sauce, and not too much vegan cheese that is often the case with vegan pizza.

I don't leave many food item reviews, but thought I should share that Amy's Margherita pizza is really quite delicious. We don't eat it often, but look forward to the times we do treat ourselves! And of course, most importantly, this pizza is 100% plant-based.

The crust and sauce are good but the “cheese” was bad, it was slimy after baking. I did scrap it off and could it eat the pizza without the “cheese” I am not vegan or vegetarian, it was my first time having vegan cheese, had to go dairy free because I breastfeed and my infant has cow’s milk protein allergy ... show more
