  • Excellent piano
Edition: white piano toy 31 keys
This is a really fun little piano. We got it for our 1-yr-old, but I think our 5, 7, and 10-yr-olds are having the most fun with it. We’ve only had it for a day, so I can’t speak to durability yet, but the sound quality is exceptional for a toy piano, it makes beautiful music instead of the annoying plunky sounds you often get. Like a real electric piano, it has several sound settings, volume and tempo control, pre-recorded songs and also an option to teach kids how to play along with those songs (this feature is really fun and engaging). The lights in the keys and in the back of the piano are pretty and great for keeping the little ones interested and engaged. The mic is fun too—it cuts out randomly for no apparent reason, but works at least 2/3 of the time, and when it’s working it has good volume and is one of the kids’ favorite parts. We’ve had a few different kid toy pianos over the years and this is by far our favorite. It is small, but for us that’s a plus, and the size does not prohibit ease of playing even for our older kids. It fits my older daughter’s American Girl doll perfectly, as well, so it could also be used as a fun doll accessory. We would definitely buy again or use as a fun gift idea. ... show more

  • Granddaughter loves it! piano is cool but the mic quality sucks and it could use an auto-shutoff
Edition: pink piano toy 31 keys
The piano is cool but the mic quality sucks and it could use an auto-shutoff. I did rate it only 4 stars because of the distorted joke of a microphone. Sound quality of the piano itself is about what I expected. I bought this for my granddaughter who is less than a year old because the so-called keyboard toys for that age range are a joke and don't even play a full scale. I understand that it is meant for older kids but has the basics I wanted (a keyboard) for her. Didn't need other features so I tossed out the legs and the totally distorted microphone. I had to open it up to remove the top cuz she was pinching her fingers in it. As I said she is less than a year old. HOWEVER she just loves it and we have a lot of fun with it. It holds her attention more than most of her other toys. ... show more

  • Perfect hasn't changed in 20+ years
Edition: white piano toy 31 keys
I bought this for my granddaughter's 1st birthday. I got it because it is the same little piano I had for my daughter and gave to her on her 1st birthday 25 years ago, never should had sold that one hahah. anyway I now have the same one for her daughter, my grandbaby. :) so happy. The piano sounds good, and different demo's that you follow because the keys light up and it will play the turn lit up, then you repeat it. Even adults can enjoy this cute little piano. It comes with aux cable which can go into headphones, mps player or whatever, also has microphone. I never used the microphone because the cord is long and I have a fear of strangulation for babies and toddlers so I just remove that whole thing and put it away. ... show more

  • Fun little piano that your kids will enjoy, but parents will notice some issues
Edition: white piano toy 31 keys
Our child immediately loved this piano and has been plinking away ever since we gave it to her. For the relatively affordable price, it has just enough features and quality to make it a good purchase. Also, I like that it actually looks like a miniature grand piano - so many of the kids' keyboards look nothing like real pianos, and my kid has learned to recognize pianos from photos and videos. I'm happy with the purchase given the price and how much my kid enjoys it, but here are some issues that parents may care about: 1. It's definitely on the flimsy side. The plastic is pretty thin and weak, and a few times when my 2-year-old has picked it up to move it and put it down, it doesn't seem like it's going to take a toddler beating for very long. She has dislocated the arm that holds up the lid numerous times, but thankfully that goes back in easily. But probably not for a kid who's rough with their toys. 2. Yes, you can play chords on this keyboard, but there are 2 caveats: First, you can only play up to 4 notes at one time. Second, there are many 3-note-chords that, when played, will errantly activate a 4th key (e.g. if you play three notes in the F Major chord, it will also play the G# key when you press on the third note). There are many different 3-note-chords that activate their own unique errant fourth note. Unless your kid is the next Beethoven, this will likely not be an issue for your toddler. But if you're a parent who is a pianist and wants to play songs for your kid, this will probably slowly start to drive you up the wall. 3. Lastly, a really minor complaint is with the buttons. The buttons have different shapes, but the shapes don't correlate to any specific functions or categories, and all the buttons are the same color. So for a toddler who can't read the labels on the buttons, it's virtually impossible for them to tell what the buttons do or how/if they do different things. My kid ends up just pressing them randomly and has sort of figured out 2 of them, but based on how she's mastered other electronic toys that use shapes, images, and colors to indicate what the buttons do and how they're different, I think kids would get so much more out of this toy if the buttons were built differently. ... show more

  • Great customer service
Edition: white piano toy 31 keys
I ordered this for Christmas and my 3 yr old loves to play piano. As you can see I opened the box to find a broken piece. I contacted the seller and they immediately sent me a new one. The piano is an awesome gift. My 3, 5 and 15 year old loves it.
