Bought these because I have OCD and nothing matches in her house. Bought these "for her" as a nice gift to go along with the espresso machine she just bought. These mugs feel nice in your hand, the matt finish has lasted through lots of dish washing cycles and are in great condition still, don't get hot outside and microwave just fine. If you got them because of the stamp they have on the bottom, be warned that it will wash off, and you will cry and have to buy a new set all over again. Just kidding. Enjoy these mugs ... show more

After searching far and wide, I settled on these mugs, and I'm really happy with how they look. Slightly rustic/homemade looking, but smooth to the touch. Good weight and size, slightly larger than your average coffee mug, but not gigantic. My only complaint is that the cup gets pretty hot from having coffee inside it - which means that heat is coming from the drink, so your drink cools down a little more quickly. It's a very slight nitpick, and I would still get these regardless - but it's something I noticed right away! ... show more

Before ordering these I had read some reviews stating that they arrived with chips and other flaws. I looked mine over closely immediately after receiving them and they appear flawless. The handle shape was an important feature for me. I just find more angular handles more comfortable in my hand. Something I wasn't expecting is the unevenness of the rim. I'm not sure yet how I feel about it. I've tried uploading a photo of it but I keep getting error messages ... show more
